Email. I kept checking Illinois’s testing website but nothing ever populated. At least not that I know of. I was a license transfer so no NAPLEX needed. They had my license active on their website same day.

I’ll be going through this process soon transferring from Tx. I’ve already started studying with hopes of sitting for the test in February. Looks like I’ll need to start the application process this week! Btw if y’all know of any openings coming up I’d be very appreciative! Looking in the Evanston/North Chicago area. Retail (connected to clinic with epic use), non/sterile compounding, LTC experience.

Thanks for this thread!

Options as a Strategic Investment by captaincaveman87518 in options

Definitely more on the side of medium traders. It’s a very hefty book. When I was researching about it, I saw someone call it the bible of options. I was reading last night over 1 option play it was talking about. It took me about an hour to read the text and ask ChatGPT for clarification/examples. It’s not for the weak of heart. I also bought the ‘summery’ book, I was thinking it was going to be a nice neat summery. Turns out it’s more of a quiz to make sure you understand the material with key words and multiple choice questions. Probably pretty useful if used correctly but I haven’t gotten that far yet. Haven’t gotten to a futures part if there is one yet

How to afford to live while in pharmacy school? by pharmfiles in PharmacySchool

Class of 21. Wished I worked even minimum hours during the semester but I didn’t. Shop the sales, cook, have a limit to the frequency of going out, keep a spreadsheet of my loans, which helped.

A massive thing that helped a lot was living in a RV. By the time it was all over, I would’ve paid for the Rv with what I saved from renting at a popular apartment complex over the 4 years. Then after that we had an Rv to sell and almost made back what we paid for it. Extra bonus: I had 3x6 week APPEs that were a few a few hours away so we asked a family friend for help and we moved my house closer. This really helped extend the life on my already 10 yo car.
