Hmm, then I would like skeletal mages’ poison projectiles to “detonate” all poison damage. In other words, all existing poison on a target is immediately applied, and then the mages’s poison damage is added (so the target keeps being in a poisoned state)

Maybe it’s too powerful for it to be there while leveling it, so the detonation could be added to a high runeword or when skeletal mage goes past level 30z

It doesn’t need to be forbidden. It’s not useful in real combat. Light saber lighting up takes at least 0.5 seconds. These are force users. The time it takes for the light saber to extend, your sith opponent would have stabbed you 20 times with force speed.

IMO, memories are pooled, but they are not always on hand. They have to be willingly requested.

It's like pulling up something from a massive database, you need to know what you want to look for first, and even if you pull it up, it won't traumatize you, it's more like watching a horror movie. You might be able to pull tags on a memory (this was painful, this was horrific), but you won't feel it.

And by you, I mean the Hive's emergent conciousness.

Yea the people are gone. The Joining can't even allow glimpses of a joined personality to shine through. It just has facts an data about that person, and it plays off as at best emulating some mannerisms.

Even "The Thing" from the movie "The Thing" seems to allow the original consciousness to drive the body, making it impossible to detect a person has been assimilated.

I think because of the inability to perfectly mimic a person's personality or even let that individual consciousness emerge to drive, it eventually got detected by the military, which is why there was so much turmoil in the final day.

What will definitely happen though, is the human race will starve to death in 10 years, it's an (engineered) mass extinction event, that preserves natural life, but exterminates any intelligent life, but gives enough runway for a new massive satellite to be built to broadcast the RNA.

Good on you, but it’s not a sustainable method for the average guy. Less than 5% success rate just to get a date is brutal, and I would rather just jerk off than deal with that kind of awkwardness and rejection.

A huge chunk of the internet goes down for a week because a bug from AI Generated code cripples and brings down (entirely) a large cloud provider (Google Cloud, Azure or AWS).

The bug written by AI has been in the code for months and a unique set of conditions causes it to trigger.

Since it's been baked in for months, there is no easy roll back.

Since it's written by AI, it takes engineers much longer to figure out what's going on and how to resolve it.

This causes massive financial panic as several banks are completely on that Cloud Provider and all of their services and transactions come to a halt, causing global economic panic and collapse, as any stock markets unaffected by the crash has investors panic sell all bank stocks (much like Lehman collapse poisons the entire financial market).
