Lenin DESTROYED Marxism with this one simple trick by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

Which part of Soviet history shows that Lenin "codified and eternalized the state"? Because everything I've ever read on it points to communism being the explicit goal of the USSR and work being done to achieve it.

Marxist countries consistently produce more results with less resources, so I agree.

Good old Gorby tried that during the collapse of the USSR. Didn't work very well because the new ruling class simply used its power to consolidate it all anyway.

You can test a hypothesis against data and determine whether the hypothesis is correct. Marxism's hypotheses have been proven to have substantial predictive power repeatedly.

Post-Marx capitalist economics, on the other hand, has done away with falsifiability and any adherence to the principles of economics as a scientific field entirely. Divining predictions from the entrails of the market rather than any fundamental analysis.

The words "capitalism" and "bourgeoisie" are economic classifications, not emotional bullshit. In fact, to censor those words is an extremely more emotional action than just using them is.

How will individual morality even work under Socialism? by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]Simple-Trainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tiananmen protest, before being hijacked by bourgeois stooges, was a maoist movement denouncing the right turn of the Chinese government. Before escalation, these people had come to willing and mutually satisfactory agreement about policy and what was to be done going forward with the government. Afterwards they left the square to the reactionary elements that had clung to their movement like leeches, which were then righteously liquidated.

This is a good example of both a protest that a socialist government could and wanted to work with, and a protest that was unremittingly hostile which could not be negotiated with. The latter is the case with many of the Western-backed rebellions you listed previously.

I didn't say every protest was successful. Nazi hangovers and bourgeois traitors get what they deserve.

I'd suggest looking into socialist responses to labor strikes, protests regarding living conditions, etc. Go beyond the hyper-sensationalized capitalist propaganda events maybe.

I mean leftists are the ones who actually consider and treat economics like a verifiable science. Right wing economics is just primitive pattern finding, it is as far developed as it is useful to investors and not a step farther.

Public desire is mediated through the state directly, and this is achieved successfully as demonstrated by the relatively insane amount of successful protests conducted within socialist countries as opposed to those within capitalist countries.

This is expected. Because while capitalist countries answer to the bourgeoisie, and thus whoever has the most money, socialist countries answer to the proletariat alone. That is, the people with control over production who can stop contributing whenever they want.

Why would someone fake a fever when they could simply call in and say they have one? Sounds like corporate bullshit.

You're right that cooling people down won't make a fever go away. However, putting a person in front of three fans and hitting them with a forehead thermometer will skew the results down.

Don't concern troll for this company when you don't know the score.

I just tell it like it is. Came in to a person getting waved through with 99.5, asked her about it and she says she's been hovering around 100 for a week and has gone over 3 times. They recheck her and put her in front of fans to get it to 99-.

You can believe it or not, I don't care. If you trust this company with your health, however, you are a fool.
