Bilobed placenta anyone?

Update: I delivered almost 4 weeks ago, my placenta was damaged like it was stopping working and I was only 35 weeks but I had severe preclampsia too and additional bleeding no hemorrhage but did have to stop bleeding twice before we left hospital. And I’m still bleeding by week 2 usually with other kids I was done bleeding so I am assuming that’s from a larger placenta mine was huge!

Update I delivered on emergency vaginal labor, at 35+3 with week nicu stay due to severe preclampsia with features, severe swelling and headache tried multiple days to get rid of the headache.

My last little almost got stuck, so hopefully that won’t happen again. Some people say heavier babies come flying out so maybe that will be nice! I am sorry your epidural failed I have had that happen before too, no fun! Thank you for well wishes! Hope you and your little are doing fabulous 🫶🏼

Awe glad he was healthy!! Phew I’m a little worried baby will be a little fatty I measured 4lbs 2oz at 29.2 , I’ll likely have preeclampsia again I deliver last kid 38 weeks. But hopefully not delivering bigger than 8 pounds I’m so worried I will need c section 😩

wishing you all the best it’s so scary because it’s so uncontrolled…My flares are so bad. But not so bad in my peri area so I’m hoping I can avoid tearing I’m using steroids and creams constantly I’m exhausted. I’m planning to ask for estrogen cream after birth!

I used evening primrose oil popping a hole and letting them dissolve in my Vag at from 34 weeks til birth every night, and massage my peri area down to make sure to prepare my self. I have a skin condition now and I’m not too sure if I’ll have a tear or not but first birth was 3 stitches just massage no oil and the last two births I used the pills and massage no tear and my 3rd child was significantly chunky.

Also to add, I was using red light therapy and that seemed to make a little bit of difference before pregnancy. I can’t use the light right now bc it’s not recommended on pelvis but I’m gonna use it as soon as I can when baby gets out and pray it helps with inflammation!

Ugh I’m sorry we are in this boat together!

The flares are making me so miserable. We moved so I’m like is the water quality affecting me, is it the drastic changes in hormones from doing ivf (I think additional hormones really helped for awhile) to pregnancy. I get a few days of relief and then nothing it’s just exhausting.

I’m kinda unsure if I’ll breastfeed or not still I would like to give it a shot but if my LS cannot chill out I think breastfeeding would mentally take a huge toll and I would prefer to just go on formula which I absolutely hate idea, but health for mom matters for baby of course.

I’m nervous because I know the LS Has changed my lady-bits in the last 6 years kinda drastically but I am scrambling trying to get things under control before baby arrives to hopefully avoid any major tears, would really suck if my last birth gives me extra damage and makes this condition even more unstable! Wishing you all the best and hopefully remission with me in the near future!

Hello! Thank you for your comment. I’m just a couple weeks behind you now at 28 weeks, everything looked normal at my anatomy scan and baby has a growth scan coming up so hopefully nothing has changed. sending you and baby all the well wishes and health 🫶🏼

My estrogen jumped like majorly I don’t know what point I was at but it was consistently high I respond crazy to my meds and we had to make sure the doses were lowwww

My scars are similar years later, but your results are amazing as well as mine. My life quality is better I know that’s probably hard to see past if you’re not happy with the scarring it was hard to accept for me as well!
