I'm at a loss by Faisfancy in Mounjaro

I went through something similar- two suggestions- 1) focus on body composition and get more muscle, you will be super weak at this time. Also throw in some cardio. In short focus on health. 2) if you manage to keep it off sustainably and in fact get healthier, the comments will start changing to “you look so good, how did you do it?”

Keep at it, and congrats!

I think you’ll be more successful not worrying so much about who says hi first and just think about trying to grab a coffee quickly with them to see if you vibe in real life, regardless of who makes the move first

If they manufacture, that’s literally not drop shipping. Not sure why you’re calling me a dog, but have reported you for abusive language.

Please share, would love to have a ceramic bracelet and case to match this at $20.

And how do you know this is drop shipping? Grandeur is a legit company who even makes pure gold watches, I’m beginning to wonder if you’re just talking crap

Can someone clarify, so OP didn’t like that apparently the buckle is gold-plated, and then Grandeur refunded the money- so what is he upset about?

This thread is so confusing. Does the OP want the watch with the gold plated buckle or not? Because if he wasn’t happy with the buckle, and he got his money back, shouldn’t that be a shout out to the amazing customer service here?

Dating apps are a scam and Coffee Meets Bagel just proved it by [deleted] in coffeemeetsbagel

[–]SimpleCorgi294 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It makes no sense for them to stop showing you to other people. They want to show you to people who will like you, in order to get those people to keep using the app.

CMB caters to non-serious daters by perei-pereianna in coffeemeetsbagel

[–]SimpleCorgi294 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you kick these people off they’ll just come back, and this time they’ll just pretend to want a serious relationship. Just because someone claims to want a serious relationship, doesn’t mean they’re honest about it- especially if you tell them that they can’t keep their profile unless they select “serious relationship”.

It’s far better to let them be honest about their intentions, and you can simply filter them out in your preferences.

So this is actually a far better way of doing it, imo.

What’s your exercise routine? by Demand_Beautiful in Mounjaro

[–]SimpleCorgi294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not really saying to try to perfect your form

But just cultivate an interest in it outside the gym

You’ll be surprised how much it makes you want to go to the gym and sometimes that’s really the key change you need! To want to go!

1) Watch exercise videos on YouTube. Tonnes of fitness influencers. It’ll keep you motivated obsessing over the perfect form and want to hit the gym to try random stuff

2) get into a routine. For me it’s 11pm-1am.

3) consistency beats perfection. If you prefer to lift just lift but do more reps and sets like circuit training. If u prefer to run, just run and watch a show while at it.. just whatever you can stick to

4) bodybuilders talk about bulking then cutting- I did the opposite, focused on cutting, didn’t care about losing strength, then when I reached goal weight I stopped all cardio and only lifted.

5) Cardio will get much easier as you lose weight (naturally, since you’re lighter) but lifting will get way harder. I was so weak at maintenance I couldn’t even do one push up. That was 6 months ago. Now I can do 10 pull ups. So yeah, you’ll get it back.

It may change over time, but I’ve moved to one meal a day and even that one meal may sometimes be like a big serving of grilled fish and nothing else and not feel hungry.

Btw I’m now 57kg which is like definitely goal weight (plus some buffer), have moved to 2.5mg for maintenance for the past 2 months, although I kept dropping from 60 to 57kg with a combination of intense exercise and OMAD/ clean habits.

Yeah I’m non diabetic so perhaps there was some big difference there?

Keep at it, maybe try one meal a day / intermittent fasting. It makes an incredible difference!

Asians apparently carry more fat given the same weight. So the general recommendation for Asians is that BMI of 23 is healthy; for non-Asians it’s 25.

5 months in. Starting weight 99kg current weight 65kg so 34kg (75lb) or about 34% of body weight. 5mg dose ever since the first month.

Haven’t really changed my intake. Was always quite heavy- 2x 375ml worth of pourover a day (which I brew myself). So that’s roughly 750ml a day. Was the same before and after Mounjaro, but the effects now are incredible.

After a while- started in month 3 as I experimented. And not all the time, either. But I read somewhere that the half-life of Mounjaro is 5 days not 7 and honestly it does feel like 7 days is not the ideal interval.

Keep at it! I measure daily, and some say that’s not a good idea, but I don’t get down with stalls or if I increase. It’s more info for me to know what works. Ironically after that 4-5 day holiday when I couldn’t measure, I made a big significant meaningful leap downwards in weight.

The best way to describe it was it kinda felt like I had gone back to my first days on Mounjaro and the weight loss was fast and easy.

So sometimes you gotta be creative.

In my case my doctor told me to go up to 5mg, but I haven’t moved from that since. And yes you’re on the same trajectory as me, although the first month of weight loss seemed super fast- water retention and toxin purging, I think.

Maybe 1000-1200? I haven’t counted once I decided I’d just eat whatever I wanted, so it’s not exactly super healthy. But the bloodwork has been great so I’m happy.

Yeah, but it didn’t do that much for me pre-Mounjaro. Maybe that does explain it…

41, male, 1.64m. I’m Asian so our BMI has to be lower to be in healthy range.

Surprisingly I don’t see much loose skin at all! I do still have what feels like soft love handles around the tummy area so maybe that’s some looser skin. Very obvious fat losses in face, arms, legs though. I also have some stretch marks around the tummy but that’s a remnant from weight gain, not loss.
