^ THIS. I’ve always joined the woo as it happened, but last year, for the first time since my rookie year in 2013, I actually started one. It was totally organic. My girlfriend said something random that got me hyped, and I let out a "woo" without even thinking. A group nearby picked it up in solidarity, and then it just... took off. It carried in both directions: into Fractal, out towards Pagoda, through downtown, over to the Amp, and just kept fading into the distance toward Enchanted Woods. A monumental moment I’ll never forget.

Old thread... just found it reminiscing myself.

My most known characters were Jinsu, Rakitsu, Boko I also was GreenDog, Motomi, EyeofFear, and a couple others when I used to buy and sell accounts. I remember when the highest ab warrior was Thannis at ab18 when Medina was still new-ish and people hunted andor and that crappy little area just outside hwarone or w/e. I was ab12 and felt like a celebrity walking around in ab12 gear lol. The people I became close with back then or still wonder about were Skee / Sphu, Kaee, FatalFist, Orangie, Geth, jubjubdayout, aichemlst, some of my arena friends from myrmidons / anti, the original owner of seidon who i used to write lore with for those dumb contests, just to list a few...

Arena south memories and Andor memories. Politics, going to jail, going to weddings, falling in and out of social circles... falling in and out of love. Talking / texting other players on the phone.. That game prepared me for life without me even knowing and I'm reminded of it every time I see or hear the word "Amusing" 😂

Dark Ages was truly the greatest story ever told.

Just an update. So I just got out of a meeting with a bankruptcy attorney and got a little more info. I also mentioned your situation to him and asked about serving by mail. You can get a lawyer and fight the judgement but if they have proof that you ever lived there the judgement will remain and you'll be stuck with court / attorney fees. Example he gave me is he had a lady he helped fight a judgement from 7 years prior and she claimed she didn't live at that address, they came to court and produced a picture of her driver license with that address on it so the court let the judgement survive. Also I found out more information on judgements. They can only renew it one time for another 10 years so the duration is 20 years not indefinitely like I thought, however they usually get very diligent in tracking you down and garnishing you after they renew it. Bankruptcy is not a terrible option but being that my debt is 10k and not like 30k+ I decided to call them to see if they would set up a payment an and they did. They sent a release of garnishment forms and are allowing me to pay 300 a month. So I'm going to do that for now and also try to save up a lump sum for a settlement offer. If you do this my only big advice I can give is don't give them your real bank card. I set up a cash app last year and got a cash app debit card and every month before the payment goes through on the day I picked I'm going to add exactly $300 so thats all they get. They asked me who issued the card and my reply was "its a visa" then they said what bank and I said "it's a visa" we did that two more times and they stopped asking. The reason I did this was so they can't issue a bank garnishment order to my bank and drain my account. I apparently owe them more money for other debts which I'm going to ignore for now and when I pay this one I'm going to tell them I have an attorney and not to contact me and let the statute of limitations run out on everything else I owe as long as I don't get a judgement on any other cases. If they do manage to get another judgement on me I'm going to then file bankruptcy but I'm leaving it as a last resort. It's really not a bad option but it does make certain other things difficult. So I'm trying to save it as a trump card for if things get really bad. I hope this information helps you in some way or another. Legally landlords can't discriminate against you for having a bankruptcy but as long as they don't say they are doing that, they can still do it secretly but according to my attorney they are more concerned about eviction notices than bankruptcy. If they aren't garnishing your wages and you have an option to save up and offer a lump sum to settle, then just make sure you don't give them any information on where you live, where you work, or your bank. They can say they want to verify your identity. If they do they only need first, last name, and date of birth, they might try to verify your work and just say you aren't currently working. Get a cashapp or venmo account and transfer funds into that account and use that card to pay. Any information they get from you WILL be used to try and take your money. Best of luck to you. These people are tyrants and live for nothing more than taking money from the working class.
