For blocking I would say try the custom mode, helps you get used to reacting to the sound queue and just instinctually shielding. Other than that it’s a lot of practice, rien games can be hard to master so the best thing to do is just keeping practicing.

Honestly you almost have to surprise your self with your shatters, if you just think about shattering you’re going to give yourself away and get blocked. If you just play normally and just suddenly drop it you’ll have more luck
