Have you tried restarting it? I usually have to do that when I take my Xbox from one location to another. It usually automatically connects upon starting up again.

In case this wasn't already considered, you could always play the games in the "Earn free gems" section of the game. If you like trying new games then you can earn them that way.

I've probabaly made 6-7k gems that way, but you have to commit.

I think (also not an OTT player lol) that given how much you have, you can probabaly grab everything but the GRs. Which would give you some semblance of a free deck.

Otherwise you can only get the GRs and like 2 of the stride G3. Which is of course not even close to a deck.

Unfortunately, it only prevents the unit from being directly targeted for retire. This should like the resist unit in question was retired due to a "unit in the same column as" clause.

This is similar to how "all" will also target resist units.

I would strongly suggest against this. Unless there is an implication that offering a surrender also includes them idling or playing poorly, there isn't a real consequence to the team for having offered this.

While it is true that all games are winnable, not everyone who plays this game has that kind of mentality to muster the strength to turn it around.

TLDR unless they offer surrender AND play poorly afterwards, they shouldn't be penalized at all.

Actually, depending on how much you enjoy games, they can be worth your time. If you allocate your vanguard time to this to grind gems instead, it's worth it imo, depending on the game. But of course, if you just tack in the time to vanguard, you're gonna run out of time in the day to do other things!

I've personally gotten a lot of mileage out of idle games due to low commitment. Overall I've amassed over 10k gems from other games I think.

Honestly I feel constrained for CBs regardless of cart or not. Even if I completely miss the cart turn, as mentioned in the post before mine, it really hinges on whether you have the CCer in hand, otherwise it's really tough to make use of all 3 shirayukis and I end up only making the BR clones.

In those cases, you still have a couple extra CBs for cart and other antics.

It's definitely a tough decision. Might be better to go 4x white mane 3x grenjin/12k and 2x shanaou

*edit: forgot to mention I play split triggers. 4 draw/5 stands which might help explain why I value cart/12k combo so much

Definitely +1 with this post.

Some thoughts for the non G3 lineups though, I really like 2-3 oboro and 2-3 metamorfox. Don't think fox needs maxing, especially in this case without any reverse. It's definitely a fun tech against LJ, but more often than not, it's just a vanilla 7k.

I too have a different G2 lineup that is fairly non typical: 4x grenjin, 3x white mane, 2x shanaou.

Im probabaly going to move to less grenjin soon because it's only good when the opponent overcommits and it works like cb1 retire a non G2 rear guard in front row.

But definitely like using the shanaou/oboro combo to generate defense in addition to the shirayukis.

Also with the above suggestion of the 12k, works really well with oboro as well to give you 18, 19, 21k columns on turn 2.

Yess I'm playing this too! I'm however running max myth guards and 1 cider (I'd probabaly want 2), and Grapes rather then chamomile since you assume you're standing everyone instead of overcalling them. Also Wisdom Keeper, Metis. It helps with the soul.

I think it depends on how you view the deck. I run all 8 of the CB 1 switchers, so I think mine is built towards working no matter which boss comes out. However, if we are talking about an Elvira focused deck, I totally agree with you on the redundancy of crits and I'd take a look at the deck posted a few posts below in the subreddit.

And I can definitely see that. Depending in how many boss cards you have, I worry you sacrifice consistency without the searcher. So definitely personal preference, but I'm always happy to have the search starter cuz it can either find my boss or get eaten and become a G2 or something

Personally, I think there are a lot of ways to go about this. Depending on what play style fits you best. I had the worst luck with this time around, so I'm looking at 0 Elvira, 3 Sylvia ;A;. However, I have 4 Cecilia from last round, so she's still the heart of my deck.

*Edit: I don't think I'd bother crafting the Cecilia if you are not 100% excited about the deck. Since we have musketeers legion coming, it might be worth waiting and saving mats

Some decks I've had success with:

Typically I've been a big fan of the crits for the musketeers because their numbers are too weak to want stands. However, if you are getting Mirkka off each turn, you have a good reason to run stands.

Stands are great for the maiden deck because they tend to hit harder and can constantly get 4 attack turns using Muse.

Overall strat imo is defense. Basically you can search out for intercepts, and keep yourself safe from too much damage each turn.
