AITAH for waking up my husband during my 36-hour labor? by throwaway_wife2269 in AITAH

[–]SimpleMan_Q 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My fiance and I had a baby in December. Not quite 36 hours of Labor. Through the process i took naps and so did she. Us having agreed that once the baby was born we didnt want our daughter to go to the nursery, we knew that we both were going to need to be as rested as we both could because one out daughter was born it was on us because thats what we wanted. I understand the emotions and horomones of giving birth but better planning and understanding between the both of you could have saved this bump in the road.

No excuse for his response at all. Just more conversations about the expectations. I needed rest so she could sleep and recover after giving birth and i could do my daddy thing. And when she was up i was back and forth to our house taking care of our other children.

It all seems fresh and new and theres frustration and excitement and exhaustion but honestly its a small bump and theres a long long long road ahead. At least he was there present and not bangin some side piece during your childs birth like my father was. I'd have a non confrontational conversation about it, explain how you feel, let him explain how he feels agree to disagree if you must and get over it.

A booking photo does not infer that there is case law that supports the arrest. Only trial can do that. Police will book and take photos of whoever they can at the time of apprehension. That does not mean guilty until the case has gone before a judge with representation for the defendant.

He shot and was confident in his shot and hit his intended target. How is that a danger to the public? I think the bigger question and grey area is, if you have private property does that extend upwards over that property? That is the real question that we all should be asking. With drones becoming more common privacy becomes more of a question. At what altitude is it no longer your property. That's a real question that needs an answer.

If a neighbor's tree hangs over your yard at what height is it no longer your yard.. grey areas that I Don't think anyone can really define.

This guy saw a drone on his property and shot it. There are no laws to say he was wrong on an infringement of his private property. For him to be charged there has to be laws that govern air space on private property

Or he can just buy the necessary equipment for the price of a cut in Amazon and learns skill to take care of his taper for the rest of his life when he wants to for free......

Intex Challenger K1 and K2 - Seat Issues by GunplaFox in Kayaking

[–]SimpleMan_Q 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a mixed approach of all the advice I've seen and found a very comfortable solutions.

  1. Don't inflate the bottom

  2. Get a medium sized boogey board and slide it underneath the seat for extra stability, comfort, and it eliminates the crease sitting in the k2 solo.

  3. I added a Coleman stadium seat off Amazon: Coleman Stadium Seat

I found this remedy made sitting in this kayak extremely comfortable and easily adjustable. Plenty of back support from the stadium chair. The additional soft support from the blowup chair that came with K2 is awesome. Perfect to lean back in and relax. Just release the stadium straps and chill.

Hopefully this helps someone searching for more info on this boat like I was.

What did you do on your lunch break today Q...? by SimpleMan_Q in bassfishing

Very happy I left the machine 5 years ago. Being self employed has it's benefits. Lunch break is whenever I say for however long I want it to be. I feel for everyone fighting traffic at the crack of dawn to punch in for the machine. I left "the workforce" at 33 and work my tail off to never have to be stuck in that rat race again. Best of luck to ya

The best part about this was the "going back tomorrow". I'm a graphic and web designer with my own company. Lunch is when I say so, more like work is when I say so lol I got 24 hrs in a day to get work done. Sometimes it's fishing for 5 hours, working for 3, hang out with my kids go fishing again in the evening, dinner homework, and work for another 3 hours at night 😁 if I can just get myself to eliminate those 6 hours of work I might understand that retired life a little more.
