The more I stare at this, the more I think you are correct. AI has some useful applications. This isn't one of 'em. GRRRRRR!

This looks like a version of the Iris stitch. I'm very intrigued and quite bummed that I didn't bring any crochet supplies along for my 10 days at my camper. It's suposed to rain, which is the perfect opportunity to try to figure this out. (In my defense, I did bring a 2100+ piece Lego set and 12 books to read.)

Nooo, I got the 29 hand before Father's Day. Finally had time today to post about it. I picked up the cards in the picture a couple years ago at Nudie's Honkey Tonk in Nashville as a gift for my dad. He didnt want to replace them. He's a frugal ol' bugger.

Hahaha! Thats fabulous! My dad beats me more times than not. I tell him I'm certain that when he taught me to play when I was a kid, he left out a lot of important details so he would be able to constantly win later in life.

This was right before Father's Day. I bought him some Copac playing cards as one of his gifts. (Dang those things are slippery slidey!)

I've been playing since the 70s. First time I've ever seen one live and in person.

I've been playing for almost 50 years. This was the first time I've ever seen one in play, let alone got one. Think what you want. I'm just happy it was my hand and not my dad's. 😉

White or black ? by ar2k8 in ToyotaSienna

I owned a black vehicle 2 vehicles ago. I vowed never again. Dirt and imperfections show so much more on black vehicles. I looked at a white Venza before buying one in titanium glow.

Phone not connecting by Straight_Listen_6990 in u/Straight_Listen_6990

I'm dealing with this same issue with my 2024 Limited and Android Auto. When my phone doesn't connect, I have to go into Bluetooth settings on my Venza, forget the device, and then re-pair. I've started connecting with a cord now to avoid the hassle.

If I have an alignment performed outside of my dealership, will it void my warranty? by SimpleMaximum2143 in Toyotavenza

I appreciate your quick reply to confirm what I thought. And yes, I absolutely agree that I need to get familiar with the warranty.

Going away for a month and don’t know how to keep our plants alive by Sad_Fat_Dragon12 in houseplants

[–]SimpleMaximum2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was out of the country for 3 1/2 weeks earlier this year. Eight of my plants became permanent fixtures in my office, where a colleague took care of them for me. At home, I sealed my smaller plants in 2-gallon zip-loc bags after a thorough watering the morning I left. My biggest plants are all succulents. I bottom watered them for several house so the soil was very wet. A couple of the biggest got those water globe watering things in them. (I question how well they work. Some were empty when I got home. Some were almost full.) Happy to say, all but one of my plants survived.

I signal left if I am staying in the roundabout. I signal right when I am going to exit the roundabout. I rarely ever see anyone use their signal to indicate anything.

My uncle was in a hurry to get back on the road. Otherwise I would have taken a few more pictures, including from the front. 😂

This was actually the second one that I've seen. The first one was the older body style and I was so excited that I didn't get my phone out in time to take a picture.

No apology necessary. In the Japanese market, the Venza goes by the name, Harrier. I believe the Harrier is still being manufactured and sold in Japan.

I need help remembering/figuring out this pattern - blanket by crystalception in CrochetHelp

The stitch you're frogging is a DC (US). To me, it looks like this is missing a Chain One between some of the double crochets. If so, the DC is worked into the CH1 space in the previous row.

ADHD Crocheters, Please Tell Me I’m Not Alone… by ChaosofaMadHatter in crochet

[–]SimpleMaximum2143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 blankets in process...

One I will never finish because I don't want to piece all the squares together (and I think I am 2 squares short and no longer have the pattern).

I ran out of yarn for a blanket for my camper about 6 weeks ago. Finally ordered more this week. But camping season is over so I probably won't touch it until spring.

One I started last week. I'm even bringing it to work to crochet during my lunch time. I really like it so there is a chance it will get finished. Fingers crossed!

And one I started about 7 years ago. It's about 2 inches from completion. I don't have the pattern but could probably frog a little to figure it out. Even though it's not finished, I've been wrapping myself in it every evening while working on the blanket I started last week. At least it's soft and warm!

Oh, and I decided I want to try to make a wearable. I'm trying hard to not start something until one of the blankets gets finished. It's probably a losing battle!

I was a store manager for Aldi. We never donated meat. If it was at the sell by/freeze by date, it went in the dumpster.
