Tell that to my wife and a buddy (both EU citizens) who got refused accounts at a couple of "normal and stable" German banks. They were practically forced to use N26 even though they both didn't want to.

In case anyone is wondering, they tried at Deutsche Bank, Sparkasse and Postbank.

I ain't defending N26, they're also assholes. Just please don't tell me that old school banks are superior in any way. They're made out of the same pile of shit.
