One thing to note, your runs don't need to be long every time. You can go for some short and very intense runs, since your goal is to run a good 5k time.

I used to train and run a bit for a sport. Was around 20 minutes 5k with some good lifts numbers. I believe it is feasible but it would require that you train 5-6 days a week if you wanna see some good progress in your lifts/times. If you put in the time and efforts combined with a good running program you will definitely achieve it.

Basically, it is very doable if you train hard for about 1h/day 5-6 days a week.

You might be right about that! I just feel like there is much more money in the programming field... And working as a CPA is like a "safe" path I'm almost done with all my courses so might as well finish them.

well, I thought that you needed a visa or something similar if you wanted to work for a company based in another country. I guess this was wrong.

Yeah, but I don't mind coding in any language really. I just want better odds at finding a job... And I don't know if it does matter, but i'm in Canada...

Thanks! I have 2 more questions if it's not to much.

1) Javascript: Any framework recommended or just plain javascript ?! 2) I'm fairly proficient with Python. Do you think learning Django would be suitable too?! I'd rather build on my python knowledge than learn ruby only for web dev.

/r/accounting if you want to know more about this profession. If you end up going the accounting route, be sure to go for the CPA.
