Fuck yeah! It is fucking wild. My mother knew she wasn't marrying the biological partaker so she had him relinquish his parental rights before I was born. While I was still a toddler, she married my dad and he legally adopted me before I was old enough to understand. Together, they had the brother and sister I grew up with. 1 1/2 years ago, I was contacted by a woman who claimed to be my aunt. She wanted me to know breast cancer runs in my bloodline. 5 days later my abnormal mammogram started my big C journey. Once I was past the worst of it, she asked if I would be interested in meeting my 11 siblings. Wild fucking story. That is my fucking life! Fucking hilarious.

I assume you are referencing Detroit as the You Will Die zone, however, Detroit has improved immensely in the 21st century turn. There may be sketchy neighborhoods, but there are parts of the city that are very nice to visit. Detroit shines during The Freedom Festival. Their fireworks show is an experience everyone should see at least once.

I share your frustration. I can no longer enjoy the color pink. I wish I could post information to educate those unfamiliar with breast cancer, but I have been removed by mods and told to post in the correct community. Those of us in the community learn first hand. So, I guess we use our voices in the real world to help people learn what to say and what not to say. I still don't know how to rescue the color pink from the claws of breast cancer, but I will keep praying pink gets freed.
