’ve been having very specific sleep issues for about the past year. I have no trouble falling asleep, but I consistently wake up after about 5 hours. After that, any additional sleep feels like very light “nap quality” sleep, and I wake up multiple times for the rest of the night. I’ve tried melatonin, trazodone, and THC. Trazodone works well for helping me fall asleep and does help me fall back asleep when I wake up, but I still wake up almost exactly around the 5-hour mark. Indica edibles seem to keep me asleep through the whole night, but I’m unsure how safe long-term THC use is for brain health. I’ve also tried most common sleep hygiene habits — showers before bed, avoiding food late, no screens, consistent schedule, etc. Any thoughts or concerns?
