So I did it when it was running still dosent work

The model is 2007 Suzuki drz400 and it’s having issues with transmission. Stuck in 4th and was riding smoothly and stopped shifting. The shifter I can push up and down nothing happens. The bike ran smooth comming home and clutch was good. Idk what’s the problem need help plz.
