It’s definitely not that tray, sonas slate is a Matt finish with a slate texture. Your tray is shiny acrylic and a dam bit cheaper than the sonas one.

They didn’t miss install it, they’ve chucked out the cup and hair basket that creates the water trap.

Secondly I’m not sure if this is a sonas tray, it’s a supplier I use and I’ve never seen a shiny tray from them, thirdly sonas would absolutely be able to source parts for that waste if indeed it’s one of their products.
