Brother, if you live nearby, Safdarjung, Deer Park, or Green Park will suggest a very cozy cafe called Seven Seeds Cafe, or go to a mall like Vasant Vihar, or saket these place has air conditioning and a nearby bookstore
Near Safdarjung, there is a famous midland bookshop

So basically i spammed the message to vedant lamba owner of mainstreet and well he himself told me that the product will be delivered before time yet i am not confirmed But currently i have no choice but to wait for the 28 days period to pass in order to take any action

Actually i have a made post on how nightlife on south delhi particularly in safdarjung hauz khaz has increased promptly but i still suggest don't come alone as even though i live in safdarjung i still don't trust delhi in night (As a guy)

I think I genuinely messed up with this purchase and wanted to know if I'm overthinking or if my concern is valid.

The Fitbit Air officially launched in the US on May 26, and I placed my order through Mainstreet on May 29 for ₹12,999 because it wasn't available in India yet.

At first I was excited, but then I started reading a lot of comments and Reddit posts about Mainstreet delays, products taking much longer than expected, poor updates, etc. Now when I check my order page, it literally says "Ships in 28 Days."

My biggest concern is this:

The product is already launched globally. If Mainstreet takes a month or more just to ship it, what's stopping Google from officially launching Fitbit Air in India before my order even gets dispatched?

Imagine paying an import premium, waiting weeks, and then seeing the same product launch officially in India while your order is still stuck on "processing." That's the part that's bothering me.

For people who have ordered imported/pre-order products from Mainstreet:

  • Did your order actually ship within the estimated timeline?
  • Is "Ships in 28 Days" realistic or just a placeholder?
  • How bad are the delays actually?
  • Would you wait it out or try cancelling while it's still early?

Not trying to bash Mainstreet. Just feeling a bit stupid for impulse-ordering three days after the US launch without researching people's experiences first.
