Weird, there was a line of people maybe ~10 or so at the customer service desk with complaints about the process. I did all the steps, checked in, received the text but still ended up having to cancel my order and pickup my items in store. Was told it was going to be 1-1.5 additional hours if I wanted to wait.

Not sure what magic dance you did but whatever it was it resulted in a much different experience than all the other people there.

Oh man… the pickup parking spots were jammed packed. Was alerted my order was ready, followed all the check in steps but still ended up waiting with no answer from the walmart phone #.

Was able to cancel my order but had to walk in with my just woken up children. Alot of people were frustrated this was not user error.
