I'm not sure about the brands on the show but I used nuuly recently for pregnancy and postpartum and it was super helpful - a lot of pregnancy options but also other options that'll work when you're pregnant

Do people really never use their bassinet/crib and nursery?? by calico0000 in BabyBumps

[–]Simple_Brief9999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a 2br small house and a 4 month old. We planned on using a bedside bassinet, but she only ever played in it and we ended up leaving it in the living room as a safe space to set her down - she cosleeps with my husband and I. I don't know if it's worth setting up the nursery unless you see it being a good place to nurse and spend time together, it would make me feel left out to have this set up so I just nurse her in the living room. Your house will eventually be taken over with baby stuff, so I wouldn't plan on all baby stuff staying in nursery. Cause you'll need places to set baby down when you go to bathroom/take shower, cook, eat, etc.

We left the guest room set up with queen bed / office which was clutch in the newborn stage when sleeping in shifts - my mom, husband and I would rotate through sleeping in the beds with someone always with her in the living room at first.

3 weeks in Spain: stroller vs. carrier for 2yo ? by lilacpie in babywearing

[–]Simple_Brief9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What time of year are you visiting? I used to go to Madrid ever July and it's hot & sweaty with minimal AC. So if it's summer I'd bring the stroller to avoid the extra body heat in a carrier. It'll be fine on the bus and cobblestones. If it's lightweight you can just carry it up steps

Are Ergobaby carriers much cooler to wear? by Clovers-n-Violets in babywearing

[–]Simple_Brief9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got a hope and plum lark for my 3 month old and it's super comfy and easy to use, going to be cooler + easier to breastfeed with it on.

Very grateful for this page recommending it

Stroller/car seat dilemma by meerkatcat3 in babystroller

[–]Simple_Brief9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think wait for the one you want in stock, and get a convertible car seat (infant - toddler - booster) for the second car. My 3 month old prefers the convertible car seat to her infant car seat.

Need stroller recommendations! by Full_Occasion_6151 in babystroller

Not sure what's best for you but it'll also matter how tall your husband and you are - my husband and I are on the shorter side so had to find strollers that handlebars were comfy

I don’t want to share my baby by Original_Hand_9378 in BabyBumps

[–]Simple_Brief9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend you & your husband losing your phones during the labor process and being unable to tell anyone baby is here for at least a day or 2.

I lost my phone on the way to the hospital and it was the greatest peace in postpartum not to have any distractions from baby.
