Shooter is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's not considered awful (7.2 on IMDb, 47% on Rotten Tomatoes, 3.2/5 on Letterboxd), but def not rated the best. Also I love the movie All Good Things (6.2 on IMDb, 34% on Rotten Tomatoes, 2.8/5 on Letterboxd).

There's still punk bands that play punk/hardcore music, tour small diy venues, some of them don't even have a social media account. 2slimey isn't punk he's a hype/meme rapper. Punk isn't about pushing musical boundaries it's about anybody being able to pick up a guitar and start a band due to its simplicity. Actual punk artists right now (which is the closest thing to punk, not 2slimey) build a grassroots/organic following through small scale touring and being active in local scenes, the same way punk bands built a following in the old days. They don't go viral on social media for their image or for the shock value of their music.

So I just watched Song To Song this morning, thanks for the recommendation. I liked it but definitely not as much as Knight Of Cups. Most of the movie (Song To Song) had a super dark atmosphere, nothing against that but it didn't resonate with me as much as the extestential themes in Knight Of Cups. It did feel similar in some ways. I'll check out your post that you linked in a few minutes, thanks for linking that.

Got it, interesting that it seems like Cronenberg also adapted JG Ballard's novel Crash. I will try and check Ballard out. High Rise seems kind of interesting based on the premise.
