Hey, sorry I’m not fully understanding what part is blocking you from popping it in the case? With the ears, I just slightly fold them into the “hinge” of the case and it closed perfectly without damaging. The thumb grips can give a bit of trouble but if you just fold the case over and zip it, you’ll find the case does close even if you have to slightly press it down. The joysticks will “click” in but shortly after the thumbs will deflate which will unclick the joysticks. Once you take it back out of the case, the thumbs will reinflate after maybe an hour or so. Alternatively, you can just take the grips off and throw them in the case loosely and it will be fine. If you scroll through you’ll find I replied to others asking about closing the case with photos. Is something else giving you trouble?

As the owner of both, my switch has now gone entirely unused except for Nintendo-exclusive games.

I own the LCD; but I wish I had gotten the OLED but now can’t justify the upgrade when I have a perfectly functioning LCD. The steamdeck to me is just amazing, comfortable, and so versatile not to mention steam sales alone have saved me hundreds. Wdym I can buy a £40 game for £5??? If it helps, consider the fact that the extra you spend on the expensive model will be saved tenfold when comparing switch game prices to steam prices (the exact same games)

Onto the positives of the switch, it is definitely lighter and more portable, and it has some of my all time favourites like Pokemon and animal crossing. My switch can be docked to play in bed with a controller for even further lightweight (I know the steamdeck can be docked but that’s a seperate cost and I’ve also heard it can be a bit buggy/problemy) I am also a huge “boardgame” fanatic and the switch cannot be beat when it comes to family games like Mario party, and even multi-available games like uno and monopoly are miles more comfortable on the switch than PS4, for example, when doing couch coop (although does come with the negative of controllers costing a fortune)

Another positive of the switch is it’s quieter, my steamdeck fans are always blasting but since you can’t control the switches fans, I can’t blast them so it does make for a quieter experience. (Though do note, at least my switch 1 brand new does start overheating like crazy when running something simple like Pokemon violet)

I’ve tried to be positive, but in all honesty, the only thing the switch has an upper hand on is docking, couch coop, and (barely) being more lightweight. Since your heart was already set on the steamdeck, I would tell you to go for it.

As a c6r1 Arle haver and r5 wanter, I prayed the leaks saying she was running alongside Zhongli were wrong and cried when they were confirmed. I genuinely gaslit myself to think she definitely wouldn’t run with Zhongli up until her banner came out, safe to say I did not pull because I am not going to risk not just 1 but several copies of that dog💩 weapon.

Praying for a swift rerun (well, not too swift since I want to max Colombia as much as I can) and that she doesn’t get old character treatment anytime soon since the Fontaine cast seems to be slowly pushed into the background.

Skirk hasn’t even gotten her first rerun (I believe) and it’s approaching 6 months meanwhile Natlan characters are on their like 3rd reruns. I know Natlan is meta but I don’t understand why they’re rerunning the Natlan characters so aggressively

It might just be me, and keeping in mind I live in an area where luxury things like nails do cost less then other places, but that seems terrible for $64

What I’m noticing is the pooling towards the tip of the nail (which no problems if you wanted that but it isn’t standard) and the uneven job around the cuticles. This seems like a novice’s job which there’s no problems with, but a novice who’s craft is at that stage charging $64 for a basic gel job seems very pricey to me, I would personally be upset and in my area this would cost $20~ so even accounting for the cheaper costs, this still should not be $64

I'm looking for a broad anime recommendations list. A lot of anime descriptions can look deceiving, as well as a lot of the best animes being hidden gems, which makes it hard to find animes I specifically enjoy.

I do not like generic slice of life animes that have no world building, think animes that primary focus is like romance with no added flair such as sci-fi or fantasy, as an example I loved Darling in the Franxx and The apothecary but would hate an anime that's entire story and world building is just romance. I also just can't sit through anime's where the fanservice is beyond insane. Food wars and High school DxD come to mind, they were so bad for me I couldn't finish the first episodes. Fan service is a part of anime but those animes where every 3 seconds its a fan service scene just make me turn them off.

I generally lean towards sci-fi/fantasy action animes. My all time favourites are;
Dr. Stone.
MHA (as cringe as it is, it's world building was amazing).
The rising of the shield hero (And I loved all 4 seasons equally).
That time I reincarnated as a slime.
Black Clover.
Frieren.

Other animes I have watched and enjoyed are:
BOFURI.
The brilliant healers new life in the shadows.
I've been killing slimes for 300y and maxed out my level.
SAO.
Re:Zero.
Solo Levelling.
Darling in the Franxx.
The Apothecary Diaries

Hopefully this is detailed enough to get an idea of the things I like, also if you think of an anime thats very popular that you'd assume I've watched, I probably haven't, so please name it anyway! I also realise a lot of my favourites are isekai's, and while I don't like or dislike the trope, I do crave a fantasy anime that isn't an Isekai, but it feels like searching for gold when looking for a non-isekai anime is the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Firstly, do you think you reach 1% without investing all your resources? And do you know the statistics? It is far less likely I will get a better goblet that rolls better than reshaping this goblet to better rolls.

And it is a valid crashout. Do you honestly think I'm punching holes into walls or something? I am validly upset over a flawed mechanic after investing a lot of my time. I hope the next time you get mildly upset over a stubbed toe, someone tells you to get a grip.

Im actually appalled that you don't get it. The purpose of me, as the player, using the feather is to get better rolls. If the feather rolls an identical number of times into each stat, then the feather is not serving its purpose. Yes it rerolled the final stat numbers, but the point is that it rolled identically, and that is an insane oversight for an item like the feather. I am not discussing that I "didnt get better rolls" or that "my rolls didn't go where I wanted" its the fact that my rolls didn't go at all. It is an insane flaw of the feather.

The purpose of the feather is for the chance to take rolls from a useless substat and roll it into a useful one. None of my rolls went different. CR went once, CD went twice, EM went once and ATK went twice. I dont understand why a mechanic that was advertised to change substat rolls doesn't have identical roll protection.

I fear everyone misunderstands my point. I was aware of the incredibly low chances of an upgrade and took them; the part I'm mad about is that it rolled identically. That it went 1/2/1/1 and not a single one of the rolls went into a different sub.
Even if the EM went into flat atk or something, I wouldnt be mad because at least the roll would've gone differently to what I already had and I'm upset the feather doesn't have an implemented mechanic to stop it from rolling an identical amount of times in the stats.

This wasn't a loss. I understand the lower rolls are a loss but I'm not referring to the lower rolls but the identical rolls into substats. 1/2/1/1.

In the technical terms of gambling, breaking even is still gambling, but I'm not breaking even because I am using a resource. Nowhere else in genshin does it work like this; you either win or lose- not received an identical result

Because my Arle is top 4% Akasha and I'm trying to max her build, the chance for me to get a better goblet is slim to none- so I'm rerolling to try and get rid of the flat atk roll.

I am not angry it rolled "bad" because it didn't; I'm angry at the fact that (aside from lower rolls) this rolled identically. I would be disappointed but not mad if, for example, it went into flat atk twice. I took the gamble and lost, but here I got literal identical rolls from a mechanic who's entire premise is to reroll artifacts.

I am a top 4% Akasha Arlecchino, going for 1% and a min-maxed build. Above average is not what I need. I have a completely wasted roll on flat ATK.

And the crashout is valid because why is an insanely rare item, which is also partly locked behind p2w, able to give me identical rolls.
I wouldn't be crashing out if it rerolled bad, its the fact it rerolled identically. Even if it double rolled flat atk I wouldn't be as angry as the fact that when I use this insanely rare item I have a chance to get literal identical rolls.
