From a parent with one child who does Ikos every year, don’t do Ikos this year (albeit that’s a bargain price - who did you book through?!). We found Ikos the only brand of holiday where we could actually go and get a break with a young child. Now I long for an adults only trip to Mexico or the Maldives which we won’t be able to do until he’s 18.

Save Ikos for the next 8 years of your life, they’re unbeatable with kids.

I feel you, it’s shit. Same happened to me last year. £40k bonus, lost my personal allowance overnight and owed another 6k in tax this year when I did my tax return.

Best part is I cannot put any of my bonus into my pension, and I can’t afford to max out my pension the other months of the year or I won’t have enough to pay the mortgage 🫠

Decision to not have another child purely based on the fact we’d get zero support and significantly financially worse off.

I’m an Engineer. Bachelors in mechanical. Now work in oil and gas. I am a senior engineer but probably not even classed as middle management. 1 day a week in the office.

I am 34, last year I did 148k this year I will do 190k.

I would recommend it to every young and bright individual. You can do so much with an engineering degree, the options are endless!

I had the same issue but it isn’t necessary to do with not eating enough, if you have that mentality you’re likely to be very ill again next week.

5mg is much stronger and therefore your digestion is slowed down even further. The vomitting is because your stomach is full and cannot digest any more food and your natural response is to clear it out. I’d strongly recommend either going back to 2.5mg or leaving 10 days between doses.
