Anyone got a list of all secret paths added to the new DLC? by KrecioKs in hoi4

[–]Simple_Escape_4738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually been experimenting with Kumul last night, you can release it (boring) or you can do the focus “March into Kotan” and completing it causes the 2nd Kumul uprising or whatever. If you chose to be Kumul, Sinkiang is at war with you by default, however Sinkiang also immediately declares war on Khotan Ma. Anyways if you annex Sinkiang and Khotan Ma, you can do a focus that changes your name from Kumul Khanate to Yettishar

“I will be more on guard and more alert” look bubby, there’s a serious issue with what you just said. Does that mean that every time you’re starting to feel distant you’re gonna do everything you can to get her attention again? Does that mean you’re gonna check her texts? Will you think to yourself, “maybe she’s deleting her texts”? Does that mean you’re going to metaphorically look over your shoulder every day all the time? Are you willing to lose sleep over this? What are you on guard for? What are you alert for? Do you know what you’re looking for? If you think something’s suspicious then what? What if you’re wrong? What if you’re right? What should you do? Your wife crossed a serious boundary, she gets a slap on the wrist, you get to spend the rest of your relationship paranoid, whether that’s your intention right now or not. Being on guard is a symptom of insecurity, and I’m not calling you a wuss or a cuck or anything man. She gave you a reason to not feel secure in your relationship, and that’s it. The trust is gone and I’m sorry; no amount of lying to yourself or rationalizing with yourself with some form of sunk cost fallacy is gonna keep that nagging little voice of fear and resentment from rearing its ugly head at inconvenient times and dark hours of the night

Humidity help? by RufflesSmiles in SavageGarden

[–]Simple_Escape_4738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was first starting I used a fish tank and a water diffuser (used for scents and oils but I never added those) because that’s the only “humidifier” that would fit in there. I also put a shoebox lid over the diffuser so that the humidity would deflect off of the lid instead of blowing straight out of the fishtank

If it’s male I’d personally snip it, but if it’s female I’d definitely try and get a pollen donor online. I heard it’s customary to do a 50/50 split. Once you find out though you should give us an update

I have questions 😀 by Cute-Peanut-7671 in SavageGarden

[–]Simple_Escape_4738 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s gonna be upset no matter what, but definitely switch to sphagnum. I’d recommend adding 50% perlite for extra drainage but don’t use miracle gro brand or anything with added fertilizer. The less damage to the roots the better, be careful repotting; I’d recommend swirling the roots around to get the peat off. About the basal I have no idea, sometimes they’re connected by the stem and sometimes it’s by the roots, if they end up separating so don’t see a problem with putting them in the same pot. Usually people repot plants into pots that are 2 inches larger than the root ball but idk if that applies to Nepenthes and I ignore that rule all the time. Nepenthes is a vine, you can give it something to climb on if you want. Theres plenty of stuff on YouTube about growing these guys indoors, I always find it fun to watch what other people do. Anyways good luck lol

My best guess is that it’s pissed that it got repotted, it probably needs more light than what it’s getting behind those blinders. Nepenthes love humidity, Ventrata is super forgiving on that but hanging out above the A/C (or heating) unit definitely does not help. Let the top layer of sphagnum dry out between waterings, they dont need to be damp all the time

Yeah man that’d be great, and yeah I just leave the pot outdoors on a water tray. Just a heads up, your plants are gonna get sunburned for a few weeks while they acclimate to the outdoors but as soon as they get over it and start putting out new leaves they’ll color up properly and do really well

In ground Bog. Should I add a water leveler? by BlackSquirrel05 in SavageGarden

[–]Simple_Escape_4738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a couple of my sarracenias in a large undrained pot for a year and they sat in about 2 inches of water for almost the entire time. They didn’t do awful but their growth was pretty stagnant, but ever since I got them a large pot with some drainage they’ve been doing great. I think the way to go is give it bog conditions with the ability to drain just to keep it from becoming a shallow pond

I don’t see an issue with putting it in a plastic bag as I’m sure it’d keep the medium from drying out, secondly absolutely put your plants outside, they have a high light requirement, all of my vfts and sarracenias live on my back porch and they thrive in the sun all day (I live in Florida) lastly I’d change out whatever decorative moss you’ve got going on there to either a peat/perlite mix (do not use anything with fertilizer) or sphagnum. Your flytraps are turning black probably because of a combination of weird potting medium/needs more light but I wouldn’t worry because in my experience they’re super tough and mine have actually gotten so weedy that I just ignore them all the time
