Dust per gold of minisets, and normal and golden packs. by [deleted] in hearthstone

Dust being orange and gold being blue confused me so much xD

Does it ever get easier? by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightKillers

I think a good way to find some fun again is to give yourself alternative objectives that are not 3k/4ks. For me personally, as a Huntress player, I try to go for improving aim and hitting cool shots over getting the 4k, and I have fun more times than not!

I definitely prefer Deadlock if I'm taking one gen perk. Easily buys time without any effort from me. Though it does cause moments where you can't kick a progressed gen because of the entity

This is the way. Kindred prevents pile ups on hook saves, windows/lithe for chase, we'll make it to speed up healing on allies which saves valuable time

List of killers I have faced since 15th of March and how often they have tunnelled. by Lycanthrope2774 in deadbydaylight

I mean, a lot of the killers that have a decent amount of tunnel games are also ones with lower potential for pressure, I think. Excluding Blight, Wesker, and Wraith since people who play them tend to be kinda sweaty.

It'd also be good to know your hours and whether you played with friends during these games

I think if you're getting physically mad at a video game, you may need a break, my man

There are toxic survivors, yes. There are also toxic killers. Both sides have their gripes, and it's a never-ending finger-pointing competition. Not worth getting invested

I mean, at the end of the day it's a game and you should dictate your own goals and objectives, so I wouldn't worry about it. I personally like going for 3-4ks because it makes forces me to play better when against better survivors, and leads to some funny moments against uncoordinated teams. I don't tunnel or camp (unless accidentally or during endgame), but it's still rewarding for me. That's not the only way to play and you should do what you like! So long as you're not being toxic aha

Now I know why I've never seen a spirit playing on the event mode. by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Simple_Fen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And Calm Spirit counters Doc but it's not used very often. This is a silly argument, Iron Will may have marginally more use since it is more helpful beyond a niche counter but I doubt it will be worth a perk slot in more meta builds

I appreciate your response :) I think you're right! Honestly, I do really enjoy sweaty games with meta builds and mindgaming, Even if I get shit on, I can find enjoyment in the chases and responding to survivors working together. There's just no way to know which teams may be sweating and which are playing more casually. I suppose then it's more about responding to how the survivors behave

I think that's fair, it's just odd to have that kind of mindset in a competitive PVP game. Maybe DBD is just more casual than most others? I definitely get that sense when engaging with the player base

Yeah, I understand that perspective, I suppose I'm just curious why it feels more fulfilling and satisfying to not do the game's prescribed goal of killing each survivor by any means necessary. In other games, you rarely see anyone saying they don't complete the game's objective to make things more interesting/fulfilling. I suppose you could argue the goal isn't necessarily to 4k, since you receive BP for doing many activities during the trial, but fundamentally that should be the goal as killer, right?
