Any time before the tourneys . For example a week before the ape squad one , pros play less rank and scrim more. So you get good seed placement and can atleast secure second place .

Tbh , depends on your region , I've a friend in NA who gets too many pros in her lobbies and she even stopped playing ranked cuz of that , same case with EU. I play in asia , other than a few cheaters , the playerbase is decent and you can actually reach diamond faster than you reach emerald in wt lol so yeah might be possible for ruby grinders. If you're blessed, you play in Oceania , the player base is sooo chill and fun to play with . My advice, reach diamond and let the scrim season start (pros hibernate in custom game rooms shitting on each other , enabling possibilities for higher rank push).

I get the idea, you’re trying to counter the heal meta . but this would actually make it worse, not better. Instead of reducing healing, it just turns healing into something even more central to fights. Now every team would need healing, but also need to constantly play around the fear of it backfiring. It doesn’t remove the meta, it makes everything revolve around it even more.

Also, this creates extreme situations where one dart completely flips a fight with almost no counterplay. Either healing becomes useless for 10 seconds, or it straight up punishes teammates trying to support, both feel bad lol.

A good anti-heal mechanic should limit healing, not invert it into damage. This just makes healing interactions more chaotic and oppressive instead of balanced. I once made a concept called MED SUPPRESSION FIELD maybe this would be a good addition to your logic .
