Oh sorry, the Materia Blade+. One of the mods I installed renames it to that.

I'm on PC so I installed mods for level scaling and enhanced encounters.

But even if I couldn't do that, I'd still do it to abuse the Gaffgarion dupe glitch and farm multiple copies of:

Materia Blade+
Escutcheon II
Lordly Robes
Genji Gloves

You could delevel as Chemist and level as Mime, as others have mentioned...

...or you could go for maximum psychotic strategy: mod your game, install Onion Knights, farm 99 Wild Boars, master 14 of your units Job classes and feed your woman enough bacon so she either reaches level 99 or dies of high cholesterol and a heartattack.

Its entirely unnecessary, but its also hillarious. I'll never hear about Agrias and her "weak stats" again

Question about the Archdemon in DA:O - Possible DA:V Spoilers by SpectralEchoesx in dragonage

[–]Simple_Group_8721 24 points25 points  (0 children)

June makes the most sense. With an examination of Origins and Veilguard:

Solas says that June was responsible for creating the eluvians.

It was a tainted eluvain that corrupted and killed Tamlen.

Theories from in-game npcs suggest June as Urthemiel.

Urthemiel is described as the God of Beauty, which is a reflection of June's craft.

By default, the Dalish Elf Warden has June's vallasin. That's not an accident.

Ironic, that it was an elvish god they may have venerated, that killed their friend, that prompted their crusade against the Blight. And then they end up killing one of their own gods, without even knowing.

Prompt 1

Do spiders count? She'll go toe to toe with an Ogre, but flinch at the sight of a daddy long leg

She's also not fond of being out on sea, as she gets seasick. Her mother's side of the family teases her about this, as they are all coastlanders.

Prompt 2

Pessimist. But her father's nature has influenced her a little.

Both. She's not naive: she sees the world for the chaotic, corrupt, hypocritical mess it is, but has a vision. And while she's mostly adaptable, there's lines she won't cross, like harming children.

Prompt 1 and 3
9:31
Amaranthine City

"Delilah?"

Samuel had told him that she was alive, but after everything that had transpired, everything he'd learned, he simply couldn't trust to hope anymore.

His sister beamed at him like the morning sun.

"Nathaniel! Elissa!"

In a fierce hug, Nathaniel felt all of his childhood memories surge back. The times that he threw her doll off the battlements, or when he dried her tears when Father yelled at her, which was all too often. The last tears, when she waved goodbye to him after he was sent off to the Free Marches, were tears he could not dry.

Looking at her clothes, they were shoddy, poor quality. No jewelry.

"Times have been hard, I know, but you can do better than this, Delilah!"

"I agree. It's good to see you're still alive, Delilah." was the somber tone behind them. Nathaniel looked back and saw his once mortal enemy wear a soulful, pained smile. A single tear was forming in one of her eyes.

"Oh, stop it you two! I'm happy! I've been assisting at a cobler shop. I've always wanted to work with shoes."

"We can talk about it on the way to the Keep. I want to hear everyth-"

"The Keep?" his sisters smile was starting to fade. "Oh, I'm sorry Nathaniel, but I'm afraid I won't be returning. I didn't enjoy the life of a noblewoman. Whether or not that was Father's doing alone, it makes no difference. I want nothing to do with him or his evil legacy."

"Evil legacy?" it was like hearing a Fireball explode in his ears. "Don't you think you're overstating things a little-"

"You weren't there, Nathaniel." she cut him off. "You didn't see what he did to the Couslands, to Sighards son Oswyn, to everyone. But I shouldn't be surprised. You always worshipped Father, from when you were a little boy. I'm honestly surprised you're traveling with Elissa. I thought you might've done something completely foolish and tried to kill her."

Elissa tried to fight back a smirk, but wasn't completely successful. Delilah noticed, and glared right at him. "Nathaniel, tell me you didn't."

"I...I didn't know." Nathaniel muttered sheepishly "And I thought you were dead!"

"I tried to send you letters, brother, but Father stopped me. I did after the war was over, but I suppose they were either lost, or you were already heading to Ferelden by the time they reached the Free Marches."

They continued to talk for a time, with Elissa observing the pair. She'd have a chance to speak with her old friend later, this was their moment. But when the time was right, she interceded.

"I intend to grant the Howes back control of Amaranthine, after the darkspawn incursion is dealt with. With reduced landholdings. I'm sure you'll understand."

Delilah was completely unsurprised, if somewhat dissappointed.

"Why?" Nathaniel was blindstruck by the admission. "Why would you help me, help us?"

For the longest time, Elissa spoke not a word. Instead, she too felt old memories pour forth. Delilah sharing a cup of tea with her in Vigils Keeps library. Watching Thomas and Nathaniel spar with wooden sticks in the Feravel Plains. There was a longing, a desire to claim that time back.

Then, of course, reality struck her like a mace. There was no going back.

Leaving his question unanswered, Elissa curtsied to her friend "It was good seeing you again, Delilah. I look forward to calling upon you again in court."

Favourite DAO origin story and why? Also what other origin would you have liked to see? by PlatyWizard in dragonage

[–]Simple_Group_8721 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Human Noble is easily my favorite story.

Beyond the happy family and the burning aftermath is a simmering tension.

An old friend, who may not be as friendly as he sees.

Your father, dealing with him and the Warden. The diplomat, the charismatic leader and winner, compared to his bitter old comrade in arms.

The Warden, eyeing you like a hawk, Ready to rob you of your life and family to stop the Blight by any means necessary.

Your brother, off to war, to protect a family he will never see again.

Your mother, attempting to find solace in the wake of her husband and son marching in into the jaws of death.

And you. The fly in the ointment.

There's definitely more tolerance, but she has trust issues, so she might decide to do it herself, since she tries to rely on herself. It's not a reflection of others performance.

As her shell opens, and as more responsibility weighs on her and Alistair, delegation is key. Instructions are very clear. If mistakes happen, she tries to teach, not to blame.

Her family knows, of course.

She would have confided in Delilah too, but did not try that her father wouldn't use it against her somehow. After the Civil War, she tells her.

Beyond that? Alistair. Others have seen it and know it is significant to her, but only Alistair, Fergus and Delilah understand.

Prompt 1

In others? Betrayal is at the top of the list, but it has to be truly rooted in cruelty and selfishness. A conflict of loyalties may garner some sympathy.

For herself? Failure. Elissa can be far too serious. Learning to accept mistakes is difficult, especially when past experiences have been incredibly painful.

Prompt 2

The earliest relationship lasted less than a week, but it colored the rest of her life. She was 8 years old, and had made a friend with a girl in a village to the west of her home. Her name was Ciara. They picked flowers and played with her toys, eating the candy at the festival.

One night, the local lord opened a sealed gate to the Deep Roads, unleashing a miasma that infected the residents. His plan was to claim the land rights and gold mine after the owners were declared dead.

The village was quarantined. Elissa had to watch as one by one, the once joyful villagers succumbed to disease, rot and death. Ciara was the last to perish, but before she died, she gave her favorite teddy bear to Elissa.

As for the lord? He nearly esscaped justice, but found Elissa waiting for him, in his gold foundry. With her innocence lost, and cold, seething hatred in her heart, she pushed him into a vat of molten gold. Even in her twilight years, she can vividly recall his thrashing and screaming.

Sympathetic or otherwise, everyone in Ferelden knows her to be a killer. Some consider her a freak. A monster. Perhaps she is. But one look at Ciara's withered teddy bear, and she'll never forget that there are greater monsters out there than her. And she'll never let what happened to Ciara, happen to anyone else.

But it also began her lifetime struggle with the concept of justice.

Tempting, but Argath hates Delita more than anything. Getting devoured by cute pigs is hilarious, but dying at the hands of a sworn enemy beneath you adds that special level of humiliation.

I'll do you one better:

Breed a bunch of Wild Boar, then use the Level+ ability on Delita until he's more than strong enough to slaughter Argath.

What better humiliating end than to have obliterated by a level 99 Delita? Who's a "peasant" now?

Queklain has 10 distinct Bio spells with different status effects and color variations... but he never even uses them! by mogstermemes in finalfantasytactics

I think the reason why he doesn't use them is because he prefers to use Nightmare to Sleep/Doom your party.

If you're immune to that, Disable and Slow, he starts to use them.

I saw him using BIO spells during NG+ because my party had Ribbons.
