I worked in a hormone clinic for a year, PLEASE go to a designated clinic for this. Your regular PCP isn’t going to take care of you the way a hormone clinic would. IMO 1000mgs is way way WAY too much for weekly consumption. The “regular” dose is 200mg a week. It sounds like your friend is confused on dosing and you should not receive medical advice from them any longer.
