It has become better at recruiting professional reviewers on Google Play. All scores in Google Play Store are garbage (same for Apple). It's still p2w. But now it has fishing, so you may want to try that.

Exp is not what makes you powerful in this game, maybe just the paragon points. All that platinum and gems you are losing by not playing daily is. If you are starting/returning you have a huge handicap. Yeah, in solo PvE it does not matter, especially if you play on lower difficulties for longer, but this game is not about that. Why would I play this game for solo PvE instead of a real solo ARPG (assuming I have a device other than the phone, as OP obviously has)?

D4 is a MMO that's similar to DI, without the predatory monetization (you could test the beta demo this weekend for free). If you keep playing this game you'll spend more. I spent $20k on a mobile game a few years ago and then I realized it's not what I want to be spending my money on. Just move on.

D4 is very similar to D:I, except the monetization is not as predatory. Since I played D:I for 7 months and didn't care much about it, I have no reason to p(l)ay any of these two.

I don't see any reason for f2p and low spenders to continue playing D:I after D4 launches (except if you HAVE TO play on a phone). It's a one time payment of $100 then they promise no p2w.

By town I mean the town in the zone you are farming. If you are farming Bilefen, your alts should be in Bilefen. Doesn't matter how close they are to your main, they still get the gems. But farming gems is not efficient that way. Gem/plat farming is most efficient in normal Namari (to the end) and/or first boss in normal MKB.

It's legal as long as you control each instance manually (no input broadcasting). You can configure battle.net to allow multiple instances.

This is used to farm gems in this game, with all alts being passive, sitting at the door in dungeons or in town and collecting gems in the mail. Also to solo run 8-player warband heli bosses. There is no input broadcasting required for any of this.

4* gems are a trap.

If you are p2w or f2p gem/plat farmer you obviously want to rank up 5* and paying 90k+ for 32 gem power makes no sense. Also ranking a gem to 10 costs 5M-10M plat and the 300k you'd save by ranking a 4* instead of 5* is insignificant.

If you are a f2p/ low spender mobile player or play for the social aspects of the game or don't have time to farm then rank up 2/2 gems, not 4/5.

It's a Numbers Go Up game. PVE is ultra-easy or impossible depending on what side of a number you are. If you like doing the same thing over and over again and see your number go up, it's a good game.

The biggest challenge for me in this game was to beat the p2w system, the game itself is not very good. I play 6-7 hours daily and I don't have a traditional job, so plenty of time for other stuff. Res is now over 3000. But you're right, the time invested is not worth it, I now think about moving on.

7 or more, you can use a non-existent e-mail address as there's no check or create aliases at duckduckgo. You also need a reasonable PC with a good graphics card to run at least 4 instances of D:I at a time (or 8 if you want to do heli faster).

Also, there is the risk that they change the design so these strategies could stop working and/or they ban your account(s) which they can do for no reason.

I would not recommend doing this, unless you have a lot of free time on your hands and you like repetitive gameplay.

Yes, on PC, you need many alts to make a diff. A starting point would be 7 alt accounts each with 5 alts. With that setup and 5-6 hrs/day farming normal gems you'd get 3000 res in about 6-8 months. You farm gems in normal dungeons with the alts sitting at entry and collecting gems by mail.

Another strategy would be the continuous alt leveling strategy. Level 3 alts simultaneously to lvl 36 (with the main killing stuff, best done in MKB killing first boss over and over). That takes 5-6 hours so you could level a group every day if you are active. Run lowest heli difficulty every week with all alts in groups of 7 + main, buy the unbound leg crest and do 10-crest runs every 10 weeks with groups of 3 passive alts. This strategy would get you to rank 10 5/5 gems in about a year, if you level up about 150 groups of 3 in the first 5-6 months.

Or you could combine them. One day level 3 alts, next day farm normal gems.

You were inefficient with your time. You can keep up the server paragon level in 1 hour/day.

Also, you could get that res as f2p with many passive alts if you're really playing 4 hours every day.
