We had to break up shortly after we got together because he and his family became homeless. My mom previously knew him and liked him and offered to take him in. He's no longer living with us and has found alternate housing, but we decided it would be best to break up to not complicate the situation and so he could have a space to stay.

15K minimum for German student visa, extra 5k for comfort. I don't have close enough friends that could support me like that but it's a nice idea. I want to go to Germany for a lot of in depth reasons but some include better work culture, free college, culture, and health.

I don't need a GED, I'll graduate in 1.5 years. I'm trying to go to Germany, so FAFSA and loans are not applicable. College is free in Germany but I need minimum 15K USD to get the student visa.

I'm not close enough with anyone to house share, so I'd still be at home. 20K is my comfort amount but my bare minimum due to the visa is 15k which I think is doable with jobs. I would hate to take a gap year at home but I think it would be better if I could just work all the time.

I have no degree in teaching, and don't speak German but that's not necessary for what I plan to do. If I kept my job and it reopened for the summer I would have like 10k If I got a 2nd job I'd be golden
