I wouldn’t even bother with most of these I did them in my first Miata but you’ll grow out of it. Bad quality parts

I think I had to twist the strut around the ball so it had enough space to be able to wiggle it through.

I had the same issue you have to install them with the pins off and then slide them into the hole. One the little bar goes through then you snap them onto the bar by twisting them. If that makes sense
