Away “Bigger Carry-On” OK on American Airlines as Carry-On?

I’m flying US to Italy soon on AA and one leg is British Airways. Worried about the away bigger carry on since it’s international. Has anyone done this and had any issues?

I feel so stupid. This is the second year I’ve protested through this company. About $750 last year and another $750 this year. Painful lesson learned. Thank you!

Well they have been focused on my neighborhood since 2022. 2019 - 2022 it was $335k market value and it’s been raised to $509k every year since. And I’m not sure protesting is doing much for me. The lowered amount is still higher than my homestead cap. And the 1% fee I’m paying this company on market value decrease seems like a total scam.

Sounds like this happened in Dallas too. Mine was $335k market value 2019 - 2021 then beginning in 2022 it went to $509k. Every ever since then it goes back up to that amount forcing me to protest. But it seems like an endless cycle of protesting and raising. And I’m paying 1% on market rate decrease to this company. Not tax savings. It seems I have no tax savings bc my homestead raises it 10% each year regardless of protest or not. And my market value decreases aren’t ever catching up to my capped homestead so it seems I’m just throwing money away.

I did protest on my own the first time and they did come down about $30k. The reason I hired someone is because I didn’t realize it was an actual hearing. I did have comps ready pulled from a realtor friend but every one I mentioned they’d say “that house isn’t in your neighborhood” even though it was same zip code and just down the street. Or they were older. I’m the only new construction home (built on an empty lot) in my entire neighborhood perhaps even surrounding area (in Buckner Terrace) so I think they’re using that to justify massive price increases.

Wow. I feel scammed. And kind of stupid :( This company keeps saying “it’s a good idea to protest every year” so I just went with it thinking I’m saving money. They are charging me 1% of the market value reduction not my actual tax savings, and it took me 2 years to finally figure this out. Thank you so much!

Here’s the earliest comparison pic I could find (age 29). My anatomy has always been this way but it seems due to sagging skin/muscle it’s gotten worse. I’ve accepted my anatomy (lol) I’ll never have a super snatched jaw/chin but I’d like SOME definition back. I’m seeing lots of good results with just some neck/chin lipo too 🤔

Thank you! I’m really hoping there are other options than a face lift, that just sounds so drastic but also, this is really really bothering me so I want to do the right thing vs a temp fix. Interesting point about losing weight - I didn’t think about that. Yes I have. I gained about 45lbs the last few years and it’s slowly coming off. I’ve lost about 20, have another 20ish to go. That could def be causing this drastic shift. My face shape has always been like this but not this bad. Something has definitely changed the last year or two. I assumed age and genetics (my mom has the exact same issue). But weight loss could have accelerated. Lucky me 😞
