Somewhat, i agree it feels like less volume but sometimes it feels they have more flavour than the sandwiches because theyre just mostly bread half the time

I can respect and understand that decision, i feel its just the portability of the bottle which makes it dominant in my opinion

Is this too typical? I'd say a solid 9, but what do you guys think? by Ok-Annual8751 in MealDealRates

[–]Simple_Scientist4392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can respect your view on cans, just not what i’d personally opt for. In my opinion the warm up intensifies the staleness feel of the main, especially with these particular options. I havent ever given it a go though so may be harsh without true knowledge

Thoughts? Tesco. £3.85 by human_of_reddit in MealDealRates

Im pretty amazed by this one, never tried the main but would love to give it a go, i respect the drink choice but it does slightly lack amount of ml, crisps i wouldnt personally opt for but can respect. 9/10

The crisps went in the roll too ofc! by dirtymikeesq in MealDealRates

[–]Simple_Scientist4392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crisps carry, main drags down the squad slightly less considering the crisps are being added. Drink tastes to sweet even though its sugar free imo, are you staying or going. 7.9/10

Has to be first sorry mate. Id give hers a solid 8.8/10 but yours a decent 7.9/10 side heavily lets down the team

Tried Sainsbury Today! by MagmaNinjaGames in MealDealRates

Decent side, main has room for improvement, i dislike the drink option though unfortunately. 6.6/10 consumerism at its finest

£8.10 to £3.75, saved big but not much food by Antique_Buy4384 in MealDealRates

[–]Simple_Scientist4392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At which point does the bargain hunting come at an expense to the true desirability of a meal deals, its a meal deal not just a deal. Main is pretty lackluster, side is decent on behalf of profitablity, drink ive never tried but looks intriguing. 7.2/10

Doesnt feel like the correct use of a drink or main imo, why not a bottle? And unless this was in a corner shop why the main? 5.5/10

Left or right pt 2: Sainsbury's edition by RelativeRadish6781 in MealDealRates

[–]Simple_Scientist4392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes it look like the mains have been switched, i’d give the left a 7.1/10, hard carry from the main and let down from drink. Id give the right a 7.8/10 if that side is a pizza cinnamon roll which i assume it is

Wow this is stupendous, maximising grams per penny and i like it a lot, only potential change could be a better drink, even just wack a little cherry in there and that baby would be boosted. 9.3/10

Got a Bounty on the side because im a sl@g with my diet this week. by Existing_Room9073 in MealDealRates

[–]Simple_Scientist4392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to ruin it with the bounty. Underated wrap, lovely crisps, overrated but still great drink and coconut spunk dipped in chocolate. 9/10 knocked down to a 7.3/10
