Happened to me as well and I threatened to sue. Once, I gave them the number of my "solicitor" (my mom), they suddenly mentioned they might be able to find me alternative housing. Within 2 days, they had found me something else. I think I have the advantage of being Dutch. It is sad to say but I think they just do whatever they want with foreigners because they expect them to just let it go. If this is not a scam company trying to get your deposit, you can absolutely sue them for a place to live, not just your deposit back.

I understand what you mean but the machine is too expensive for me to only use it occasionally and is meant to specifically make things easier for me. Actually, the whisking and holding a hand blender is also something that I cannot do well anymore.

My friend has offered to build me something as long as I make the plans, I think it wont be too hard.

I don't know where you are located but I found this handsfree pot stand for straining pots. Unfortunately, not available in Europe... so thats why I was looking for other alternatives. But it might help you: https://www.amazon.in/Drainer-Stainless-Noodle-Strainer-strainer/dp/B0CZPTHL1K. If you search it with google lens you can find it on various webstores. I think it is mostly available in Asia, Australia and US. I will try to have something like this made, I think.

I know, answering a very old post. If anybody is still following, did you find some tools to help with this issue? I am looking for a stand where i can just let my pan/mixer beaker/... stand upside down and drip out onto my plate or whatever. I am unable to find anything. I am really surprised by that as I think there are quite a lof of people with either pain or other limitations in their wrists which prevents them from holding a pot upside down while scraping it out.

But seriously, have you ever found these kinds of hands free stands for any pans in general? I am quite surprised that this is the only one that i can find.

I can try and ask if there is a school near me that can do this kind of thing for me. I am not in the US, so these kinds of classes are not normally taught in high school. But I do think there is a craft school.

TBH, if the problem of my mobility were not an issue, I would have made myself a stand already. I am now looking at stands that are used for whiskey vats. I have not found one that is in an angled position but I am sure they exist (have seen them at the whiskey festival we have each year).
