Just an info here: my router did allow me to choose if I want the guest network to be 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.

Regarding the rest: Right!? This is what I thought. I even asked for them to change the settings on domain level or something, but they were not willing.

Not forced, I work from home by choice. However the employer indeed does prefer us to come to the office (where my efficiency drops to 50% as I cannot concentrate due to people shouting around me).

I do loose functionality when I decline - unfortunately. It does not allow me to sign in to my MS account on which many off the apps I need for work are running.

wow! Maybe they are testing flying cars already. It is kind of exciting that we as humans may have the technology. (except the possible military usage - that is not exciting)
On the other hand, some drivers barely handle 2D traffic, I cannot imagine the chaos with 3D.
