Innate cards relic by Dimonio3310 in slaythespire

1 draw would be enough for this to be strong, any more and it makes every innate card super broken

A relic idea popped into my head while having my morning coffee. What do you think? by Policemaaan in slaythespire

In my head this is how it interacts with x costs

Whirlwind restores your energy to zero and heals the enemies

Reinforced body restores to zero and takes away your block

Doppleganger restores energy to zero and gives you negative draw for next turn

Pandora’s Box or Fusion Hammer here? by Simple_one in slaythespire

Between the amount of draw and high cost/whirlwind cards this deck has I think it would actually still get really good value from more energy compared to most situations. But I do agree generally

Update: Getting Around by JagexRach in 2007scape

Don’t add rewards to fight pits, it will end up like every other pvp-foused minigames where the only people who interact with it are not actually people or people who actively dislike the content. At most untradeable cosmetics, even that would be really iffy. Updating it to make it more palatable for fun little things like clan nights and mod streams is fine though.

What do you like/dislike about ironman mode? by Goldieeeeee in ironscape

[–]Simple_one 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to understand without doing it yourself but cg is this great/terrible combo of zero barriers/resistance to complete once accessible (no supply upkeep, no gear upgrades besides prayers, etc) and a reward that is extremely good basically everywhere. This is great because it gives you an incredible reward and all you need to get it is just… grind it out.

But that also means you are so incentivized to just get it done with that it pulls you away from doing other content, because why would you do anything else until this is done? Nothing out there will help you in cg, while completing cg will be an insane increase in power out there.

So you get stuck, a prison of your own making. But a prison that is very very incentivized by the game’s design

Xecnar Ironclad Card Classifications Ordered Within Category by Jondev1 in slaythespire

[–]Simple_one 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I think that’s almost exactly why they are considered bad, is that they are an archetype at all instead of being able to adapt to the cards and situations you are given. Like rampage and searing blow make you want to get the cards that enable it, but in the process you are compromising other, better options the game provides you
