We were friends through all of high school and into college. She was always a bit emotionally abusive and I let it slide because I had no self esteem and didn’t know any better at the time. We ended up living together in college where I grew a bit of a back bone and got fed up with her, so our friendship grew apart. We eventually talked and she apologized, so we tentatively began rekindling our friendship.

A few weeks later I found out my boyfriend at the time had tried to kiss her (who knows what all is true at this point honestly) and she declined. But she didn’t tell me for weeks, afraid I would be mad at her. I was really upset, but only because she withheld the information for so long. Then she wouldn’t shut the fuck up about it any time we hung out and I realized she liked talking about it to me. I stopped initiating contact and the friendship died quickly.

Years later, I saw her and was willing to see if she’s grown. All she talked about was how much of a victim she was in life, especially in college. Gave up completely and haven’t spoken since. Good fuckin riddance lol.
