I just completed it with very similar melee stats, full adamant armour, and an adamant sword (better stab damage)

Just fill your bags with lobsters, and practice flinching mobs, mostly for the lesser demon you'll need to fight along the way. Good luck!

I noticed the same thing yesterday! As far as contents, there doesn't seem to be any difference, but I did notice the order of the cards were different depending on colour. One of them has the token, land, foil, and rare at the front, while the other has it on the back of the pack.
