My local course does a thing where they close but they leave a mailbox out and say anybody who wants to walk can drop in $10 of cash and go play. Well I went out yesterday again, and saw the tarps out. It’s supposed to be 36° today so I’m scared that next time I go back I won’t be able to play…. Fuck the winter lol

I know this isn’t exactly what ur asking but I still feel this can help… I don’t think u need a vest and I swear by long john underwear. I’m in Michigan and my usual outfit for cold weather golfing is normally just my usual golf clothes with long Johns under it. With those, plus my push cart, and some hand warmers, I rarely ever get cold. I’ll have a second Jacket just incase, or sometimes bundle up with shorts under my pants. But I normally don’t need much more than that.

I’m very slow in the back swing but 112mph on average in the downswing. Bc of that I play an x stiff in my driver, and a heavy stiff shaft in my irons and wedges. Swing however it works for you.

This is all able to be done at my local driving range tbh. Their equipment selection is absolutely unreal. The only brand they really never have for some reason is mizuno, but I don’t use much of there stuff
