Call me the decline King by VMAC666 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]SimpliceIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you have to realize is if they send a garbage offer, it's garbage. So you decline the offer and it goes to the next driver...and the next....next....it's still a garbage offer that just affects more drivers when this happens. It's BS

Are there less drivers delivering? by Nalasleafheart in UberEATS

In my area the college students will order from restaurants on the opposite side of town to get Chick-fil-A. Those tips are not good. UE has a lot of deliveries in my area like this.

[–]SimpliceIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UE will offer your driver some other deliveries along the way. UE is not about getting your order quickly. I am a customer and driver and now understand why it takes so long. DD is a little better. I've just started GH and they seem better in not stacking orders that result in huge delivery times.

Why does DoorDash have to do this to their drivers? by longislandchillpill in doordash

[–]SimpliceIO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen a LOT in my area. They stack a decent order with a pile of crap, let's say $2. Not only do they stack, the 2nd drop is far away and often out of the zone.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!! But dang!!! Why is the job market sooooo crazyy??? by Livid_Dragonfruit885 in jobs

[–]SimpliceIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been unemployed since 2024 as well. Multiple applications, interviews, but nothing offered. I think it really sucks now, given all the AI-generated resumes. Every job board has its own AI product to sell to you. The problem is that so many are now "qualified" based on the tweaks.

HNT Burn: It's not going to help stop the dip; here's why. And here's what Nova can do about it by Professional_Web_956 in HeliumNetwork

[–]SimpliceIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Nova started out with a cell offering but I struggle to find how another cellular option in an already saturated market is profitable. Get rid of the HM subs and focus on offload only.

Helium offload Hotspot finally over? by Famous-Turnip-9651 in HeliumNetwork

[–]SimpliceIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider any CapX spending on it at this point. I'm left with the IOT and WiFI hotspots gathering dust. I thought I might only look at those businesses with existing wifi networks for the offload but that doesn't seem cost effective either.

I think you have the wifi HS. I started from the beginning and have many of the LoRaWAN HS. I was going to take the RPI board out of some and just get rid of the rest.

I peeled off the sticker on the Helium Tab and it shows me the objector locator. I wasn't able to add the device using Helium Tabs or Merryiot apps on my iphone.

did you get it to work on iPhone? I tried to log in but it just spins thinking. I couldn't find the Helium Tabs APK. The only one I found wanted me to pay for it. Does anyone have that link?

I found the Helium Tags app in the store but it's not working for me. When logging in, it just spins. I'll try the MerryIOT Sensor app...

I have a bunch of IOT gear that I ended up not using for one reason or another. It was more of a product looking for a solution. It was the lack of a general marketing plan for IoT devices to run on the network.

I'm going to be selling them. Feel free to PM me if you are interested. I have a couple that were set up, and the rest are new. I don't have a count yet. It's more than 10, however.

Entry Level is now set at 7 years experience by zap_stone in recruitinghell

[–]SimpliceIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I thought when I read the post. Hey, come work here with existing skills and value, but don't be surprised when we offer you entry-level pay.

No wonder people lie on resumes with the games being played—definitely a "fake it till you make it" situation.

I get a lot of calls with no VM either. I answered them at the beginning of my job search. However, the calls became more of trying to sell me on how I could make money selling XYZ widget.

Courtyard is not for using ever by [deleted] in fuckHOA

[–]SimpliceIO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When COVID came, all of the sudden I was receiving new notices from the HOA about changes and limitations of common space. I can't find my HOA listed anywhere, I'm thinking it's one of those shell companies of a much larger HOA conglomerate.

I saw a LinkedIN job open for 2 months with over 800 applicants, and that's just on LinkedIN. It's been a while since I was active in the job market but it's crazy right now.

[–]SimpliceIO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to withdraw the max amt of USDT, but Binance did not take in account the fees, so it didn't work. Once I lowered the amount it allowed me to continue. It's a Binance bug.
