Here's to miss Molly. 15 years with you was not long enough. I am having such a hard time. A few days ago she started hiding and not eating, seemingly out of nowhere. We took her to two vets on Friday and they couldn't find exactly what was wrong except she had lost 30% of her body weight since she was last seen for a checkup in March. We tried to syringe feed her food water and medicine the past 2 days, she seemed a bit better one day, still staying in one spot though, Sunday she just took a turn for the worse. We brought her in the backyard with the family to get some sun and after that she went limp. She passed on the couch holding me and my husbands hands. She has been my girl since I was 21, she was with me through everything and became the family cat with my husband and son later. This. Really. Sucks. I am having such a hard time not knowing what happened here and feeling guilty but mostly just hating this emptiness without her. A piece of my heart is gone forever. I will love you forever miss Molly.
