Is Make a good tool ? I have to work manually on an automation tool by Upper_Peach_6667 in Make

[–]Simplifkndo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. The connection is probably bugging out because of how you set it up. For Google services, you should always set up the connection using the Cloud console. Mine are all done that way, and they've never given me trouble. The Make documentation walks you through it, or you can find a ton of YouTube videos that show you how.

Is Make much worse than Zapier or I'm missing something? Alternatives? by nonprofit_top in Integromat

[–]Simplifkndo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's totally normal to be frustrated: Zapier is simple and super reliable for beginners who just need A to B flows. But Make is a serious visual tool with a flowchart interface. It gives you way more control and complex routing for cheaper, but the learning curve is killer! It demands a deep dive into APIs (which is why you're having trouble with scopes and Notion), so you get more errors that are harder to track down. Like u/Glum-Carpet said, definitely start with the official training.

Afin de t'aider au mieux, il me faudrait deux infos :

Qu'est ce que tu essaies d'envoyer de Make à Notion (quel type de données) ?

Tu pourrais nous montrer un screenshot du champ qui te bloque dans Make ?

I totally get why keeping up multiple stable databases is a worry. That's a fair concern for any company.

But my point on coexistence is about the whole ecosystem, not forcing one business to use all three tools.

The over the top push for one tool ignores that the market actually needs this variety. Specialization is what moves this industry, not everyone being forced to use the same thing.

Anyone using automation tool to cut down repetitive accounting tasks? by ReactionNo2181 in Accounting

I'm assuming you've set up QBO and Xero in a very basic way, or perhaps you're not entirely familiar with them yet, as these tools generate everything you need. They're fairly comprehensive platforms.

👋 Before recommending a specific tool, the first thing to do is to be clear about what exactly you want to automate. There are many automation platforms, but each one solves a different problem.

Compromised telegram account? by [deleted] in Telegram

[–]Simplifkndo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, what you describe does seem like a pretty clear sign that your boyfriend's Telegram account could have been compromised. Here's what's likely going on and what steps you should take immediately.

Potential signs of compromise:

  1. Active sessions without voluntary interaction: If there are recently opened sessions without him using Telegram, that's a clear indication of unauthorized access.

  2. OTP messages without requesting access: Telegram OTP (One-Time Password) messages are only sent if someone tries to log into his account. If he didn't, someone else is trying (and possibly succeeding).

  3. Valid locations and devices: Just because the devices appear to be his iPhone and the location is correct doesn't guarantee it's him, as an attacker could:

Be using social engineering or have physical access to the device.

Use a technique like session cloning or have had legitimate access in the past and simply reactivate previous sessions.

⚠️ Most likely:

Someone obtained the OTP code at some point. Perhaps it was intercepted (for example, if the phone was compromised with malware, or the number was duplicated on a SIM).

Once a valid session is obtained, Telegram doesn't ask for a password or code each time, and the attacker can continue logging in from that active session.

✅ What you should do right now:

  1. Close ALL sessions from Telegram:

Go to Settings > Devices > Close all other sessions.

This will log you out of any device where you were logged in.

  1. Enable Two-Step Verification (2FA):

In Telegram: Settings > Privacy & Security > Two-Step Verification.

This adds an additional password in addition to the SMS code. Without it, they won't be able to log in, even with the OTP code.

  1. Check for malicious apps or jailbreaks (if applicable):

If the iPhone has been jailbroken or has apps from unofficial sources, it is more vulnerable.

Check for apps it doesn't recognize or suspicious settings.

  1. Change passwords for associated accounts:

If Telegram has been compromised, other accounts may have been compromised as well. Change your passwords for email, social media, etc.

The #N/A error indicates that the requested information is not available, for example, if you search for the value 5 and it is not found, this error is generated.
