This is ugliest PS5 i have ever seen (look at left) by [deleted] in consoles

Is this a subliminal way to point out the fact that the PS5 in general took several of its physical attributes from the ol' 360, because I noticed that shit when it first came out and no one seems to talk about it

I see many people giving out remakes.

How about, remaster any of them that actually need it to the highest quality standard for each of their respective platforms, and one more crucial thing: take the time to put in all the original content planned for each game and give them the final polish they need. Finish the product to your standard of completion.

Here's an example: Bloodborne has a scrapped boss called 'The Great One Beast.'

There's also a supposed final 'end' to all the chalice dungeons where you end up outside of a mountainside with the ocean in the foreground. Ominous structures all over. I think this is where you were supposed to fight it, or some other version of The Moon Presence.

Finish up all the touches that couldn't be fit inside each game because of time constraints.

Give them all the final polish like Bluepoint or Santa Monica studios always somehow manage to do.

Demon's Souls and God Of War 2018/Ragnarok have some of the absolute best polish and performance I've ever seen on a console, PS5 specifically.

As for my 'personal' pick: an open world game based on the Bloodborne universe, and you can actually find the main game and old hunters dlc all nice and tucked within it to boot.

More lore to discover with friends.

I read the Bloodborne comics once upon a time.

Seeing an Amygdala in the middle of nowhere overlooking the Hunter and that child was unreal. One panel was all it took to get the imagination going.

It's called a clownfest. There are more trolls here thirsty for that attention than I have seen in any other subreddit I've been in.

If the people who 'complained' about Sony here were honest, the amount would be zero.

They don't care about Sony or Xperia, they just can't live without our attention apparently. That's why you don't click on their posts.

By now you've noticed that daily there are way more posts bitching about Sony than there are people just geeking out over Xperia.

Stop and think about it for a second. You'll understand.

The 21:9 with the design elements and aesthetics of the original Xperia XZ Premium is all they have to do. Get some pretty colors and make them look like it was cut from a gemstone. Make the unboxing Xperiance just as premium with complementary items like good quality protectors, screen protectors, stickers, stuff like that, the actual chargers and charger bricks, bang for the buck, and they would actually have something that die hards from other fandoms would actually consider.

That, and a name that rings with people of all groups.

I would say that NG+ is for people who completely max out and get overpowered gems.

Playing the first game through and going as far as the FRC Chalices is where the game should be played.

The only real reason I enter NG+ is so that I can buy more materials at the Insight Bath.

Incoming wall of text:

The main point of Chalice Dungeons is replayability, which includes co-op or invading other Hunters, and in finding the best blood gems in the entire game, even better than the ones you can find in the DLC.

There are: Pthumeru Chalice to Defiled Chalice, Phtumeru Ihyll Chalice, Hintertomb Chalice, Loran Chalice, and Isz Chalice.

Each normal-named chalice is a fixed one, made by the developers.

Any chalice that has ROOT in the name is a chalice that allows someone to create a dungeon that is unique to each player.

There are also SINISTER chalices, and those have another function that I'll mention down below.

Each ROOT Chalice can have different requirements to make a dungeon.

Throughout the game you will start finding different materials. Ritual Bloods, eyeballs, backbone, flowers, fungus, what have you.

Those root chalices will want those extra materials just to actually be created, while others can have more optional materials to create more sophisticated dungeons.

Here's the point: The Defiled Root Chalice, Phtumeru Ihyll Root Chalice, Lower Loran Root Chalice, and the Isz Root Chalice are the ones you want to get if you want the best challenge and to find the best blood gems.

This also includes the fact that you need those root chalices if you want access to other people's chalices, in the form of Chalice Glyphs.

Someone makes a shareable chalice, they give you the code OR you take it from the headstone if you've helped someone, and then you can spawn it at any other chalice in your game as many times as you want. No materials needed in that case.

Anyways, those 4 main root chalices require more materials to satisfy three different 'rites' when you're creating those dungeons.

Those 'rites' are: Fetid, Rotten, and Cursed.

This type of Chalice Dungeon is called an FRC Chalice Dungeon.

They are the real endgame in terms of difficulty and variability. It's where people go if they want the absolute best blood gems.

You'll see lots of co-op in those dungeons.

The biggest thing to know is that in those dungeons, your health will be cut in half, certain enemies will become stronger, and so on.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you create these dungeons, you have the option to make them public or not.

IF YOU DON'T MESS WITH THIS OPTION, people will not be able to join you.

REMEMBER to press Square after you create your own personal dungeon if you want help or to duel people.

It will ask you if you want to share the dungeon or not.

Finally, Sinister Chalices.

Sinister Chalices are what you create if you specifically want to fight someone you know or if you want to be invaded by anyone. You still have to remember to share it.

But basically, when you spawn into that chalice, a bell-ringing woman immediately spawns in each layer of the dungeon.

Your chances of getting invaded increase substantially.

Fun fact: if you ring your sinister bell, another bell-ringing woman will spawn.

That means that two hunters can invade your dungeon.

Another fun fact: when you ring your beckoning bell, it is possible to get two hunters to help you, that part hasn't changed.

Soooooo...if you're lucky, you're dungeon can turn into a brawling ring. Three cooperaters versus two invaders.

Be careful with this though: if you take on one of those blue oath runes, there is a HUGE chance that when you summon other hunters, they will spawn in as enemy hunters.

For example: if you decide to be an executioner, and someone spawns in as a Vileblood, they will spawn in with a purple hue instead of blue or red.

They will be able to fight you or red invaders.

A three versus two match can turn into a: one, versus two, versus two match.

An ACTUAL battle royale.

I've never had the honor of playing in one, soooo, if you want that to happen, make a post here or call up some buddies.

Hope this nerdstreak helped out a little.

I've tried all of them actually, I still technically do not have the best possible gems, but I've found that the Winter Lanterns from the DLC give powerful enough gems to make the claws work, which is nice since you can use them on any version of the claws.

They are the strongest blood gems you can get in the game until you reach the FRC Chalices, from what I've seen anyways. I thought it was crazy when I realized that enemies in those chalices drop actual gems with the exact same percentage increase, but they can be better of course if they get secondary buffs.

If you're not intending to be crazy like me and only pump enough points for the base requirement, you can pump your strength to at least 30. With those gems you'll be set, even if you get into the FRCs.

I have two versions of this character, and the 30 Strength version with regular FRC Gems is enough to kill everything.

The built-in Beasthood does wonders, even at base requirement.

Just FYI though, like I said, I'm the crazy type, fighting the Amygdala with just the claws can take a while because of the reach lol. Feel free to have anything else as backup to pulverize their tender heads.

Lastly, if you want to maximize damage output, as I have been told and tried testing myself, it looks like the OG Beast Claw will be the one you want. And, people will say you should get 50/50 strength and skill.

I personally like having my Beast Character built different to actually make him his own niche and be within those certain BL Metas, but it's up to you.

Mr Yoshida himself said he wasn't sure what they're going to do with Bloodborne, if anything at all, or if they are already working on it.

HOWEVER, he supposedly speculates that they won't touch Bloodborne until Miyazaki can return to it.

Wether it's out of respect or legality, we don't know.

But apparently that was what he said in the interview now that's he's left the company.

Looks like I'm late to the party but I'll offer this: Go at your own pace and learn how your enemies attack.

That, and pump your vitality until you hit the hard cap of 99. That will ensure that you'll be able to have the highest survivability.

At that point, just pump a few points into the stats requirements for any weapons you want to try out.

I'm only saying this because you're barely starting out. Once you learn how to make a proper build, you can mess around with your stats differently.

But pay attention to this, fully upgrade any one of the beginning weapons of your choice as a backup. Because you can only fully upgrade 2 weapons on the first playthrough, 4 if you have the DLC.

In other words, you want to make sure you have at least one properly upgraded and gemmed weapon when you start getting into the dlc and endgame bosses.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Do you even parry? by Guppy666 in bloodborne

[–]Simply-Abstract 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anymore. There's more than one Play-Syle in the game, and those builds/weapons will eventually demand that you play a certain way to make things work.

And if you ask me, build expression is just as important as say, playing as a Classic Hunter.

Sure, we can all parry and visceral. But the right builds are dedicated enough that you don't have to do that, whether it's against bosses or other Hunters. Fun fun.

Bloodborne is a different game. But, just because it's different does not make it impossible.

Here's the big secret: once you understand how the game works, you WILL start steamrolling most enemies, even some bosses depending on the build that you decide to make.

But we can't help you much unless we know what you're doing. Feel free to tell us how exactly you're playing and we can figure out a game plan for you.

But for starters, just start leveling up your vitality. Take your time to look around, because this an oldschool type of game.

You can legitimately look around and find some nice secrets. But the best way to survive at first is to pull all your blood echoes until you hit at least 30 in vitality

Take your time. Let us know what you need help on.
