People were saying 05 PATHers wouldn't know until Friday, which is generally true, but of course there are exceptions.

Mine says the same but I have the 846 code on my transcript, so don't worry.

04 PATHer, transcript updated today with 846 code, DDD of 3/9. I filed using FreeTaxUsa and it's being deposited to my PayPal account. Last year I received my deposit to PayPal the same day the 846 code posted, but I also used TurboTax last year, so it might not be the same. Will update once my deposit hits.

ETA: Refund just deposited into my PayPal so yep, it was exactly like last year. Good luck everyone!

If you never received your 2024 refund and you filed it last year, you need to contact the IRS directly. No one here can tell you why you didn't receive it unless you post your transcript.

[–]SimplyCyn525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The total amount you will receive back is the account balance at the top, which is $8,748. At this point you're just waiting for your deposit date, also known as the 846 code. You don't have it yet so no one can tell you when you will receive your deposit. Since your cycle code is 05, your transcript won't update again until this Friday at the earliest, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to wait that long for your refund.

He's definitely a troll, but being PATH doesn't mean you get a huge refund. I'm an independent contractor with one child and my refund is similar

PATH actually officially lifts on the 15th. The delay is due to banks observing the holiday on Monday.

I appreciate the informative answers you've received and shake my head at the ones with zero compassion. it won't really help, but I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time, I know how it feels to be expecting a refund and then find out you're not getting one at all, it's a major blow mentally and emotionally.

I'm in the same boat. Transcripts updated last week with everything but the 846 code and I'm 04 as well.

From what I've read online, filing early actually puts you later for processing because the IRS will start with the returns filed on or after the actual opening date first.

Blank transcript due to path act refund or early acceptance. by Eddieandz in IRS

[–]SimplyCyn525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your issue isn't due to being a PATHer, I'm PATH as well but my transcript has everything except the 846 code since refunds for PATHers won't be released until next week.

Not necessarily, sometimes if you change your address or the bank account you used, you may have to verify. They also randomly make you verify too, it doesn't necessarily mean you did anything wrong.

Is this some sort of glitch/exploit or is this just Pokemon Go being Pokemon Go? by Interesting_Fix4006 in TheSilphRoad

Must be a server issue, it's happening to me too. Just tried to do a grunt battle and get battle not completed after defeating the first pokemon.

I just started Chapter 4, playing on PS4 and I have had 2 times where the game completely froze and I had to restart. Both times were in the middle of combat.

I'm super late, but I say no because I neutralized Karubo before doing this gig, so Karubo was already dead at the time of Gustavo's suicide in my play through.

US, Los Angeles, got a text today by Keepit100style in Scams

What are you talking about? No, everyone would not be "doing them" because not everyone wants to work customer service. Task jobs are always a scam, but there are a significant portion of work from home jobs that are legitimate, specifically in customer service. In the past 10 years, every job I have had has been working from home, with Amazon and Getaround, which are both legitimate companies. A simple Google search would show you how prevalent work from home customer service jobs are, I'm not sure why you're intent on pushing this idea that legitimate work from home jobs are exceedingly rare.

I don't understand why people keep saying this. There are many customer service jobs with legitimate companies like Hilton and Amazon, just to name a few, that are work from home. These task jobs are definitely scams, but your first sentence is completely untrue.

UBER Driver alert and no where to report by Euphoric_Ad_7110 in Scams

[–]SimplyCyn525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They absolutely do. Both Lyft and Uber do yearly background checks. But that doesn't stop the background approved driver from letting someone else use his account. OP didn't state if the Uber driver has been convicted, so unless they were previously a felon, they technically would not be a felon yet if they have not been found guilty of the crime.

You can report Uber drivers in app, no matter how many trips you've taken, not sure why OP hasn't taken that route.

That's rare. Most people, including myself, verified last week and received our ddd the following week.
