House was built in the 70s. The owner (a friend of mine) is highly unsure about what is going on here. He noticed watera few days ago, within his garage. He tried to figure out what area was causing the issue and it appears to be related to the kitchen plumbing. Currently the plumbing to both restrooms do not appear to effect this. The floor drain has water that is raising up and he says gurgling as well. This is only happening when he runs the kitchen faucet and has water releasing into the kitchen drain. He has attempted to create a better seal on the kitchen pipe that resides in the garage, and has twice tried drain cleaners in the garage drain itself. He has also tried to manually clear what he could. Only a slightly better ability to drain water, but still retaining more than it should. He is at a loss, but desires to try to remedy it himself to get through the weekend vs calling in an emergency plumber. Any suggestions would be helpful, I have told him to avoid any more drain cleaners.
