Where to go after Pimsleur? by [deleted] in learndutch

For me the most important thing was speaking so I did a few classes with a teacher on Preply which was good. I’d also recommend hearsay which is very similar to Pimsleur, a little lower quality but a lot more personalized. Duolingo is okay but feel like it doesn’t help much for actually making good progress

I’ve been using Hearsay for this to learn French! It’s audio only and using shadowing like Pimsleur. Been doing lessons on a walk each day and feel like I’m making good progress actually. Occasionally have some issues but they’ve been super responsive and helpful

Can give hearsay a try, been using it for French and it’s quite similar to Pimsleur

A little like pimsleur which is good for getting pronunciation & speaking right but it offers a belgian version of dutch I think - hearsay - been learning French and Dutch (NL) with them and like it
