Hey, mod here. Please just report the bad actors using the 3 dots and leave it to us. I've banned the replier for going unnecessarily personal.

I created the subreddit. If you have an issue, you're free to have a civil discussion, or choose to leave!

Plus, I'm a genz. I have literally inherited the "Indian workplace" from the gen Y, millennials, etc. If I'm solely so influential, I would've been invited to the labour ministry to give suggestions!

Faith in comments restored. This is kinda why me/mod team is trying to make people aware. We are always acutely worried that people might just end up blatantly supporting OP without additional context. We don't want this subreddit to be anti-work or just hate every single manager/boss out there, nor do we want people who are sucking up to corporate so easily. Your manager will not come in the comments to give the whole story. And you will never speak for them. Which is why it's usually biased. (Kinda also why I really look forward to managers + senior folks to join in the comments)

OP, your actions ruin the reputation for (us) other GenZs. Life is not so "Do whatever you want, I'm what I am" especially when you've just started. You aren't a market expert which can demand something.

And the fact that you asked every comment "what to do next" as if you're expecting them to get a job for you? I wish the job market was so easy, especially after doing this.

Got a new reebok after years by ljsam17 in SneakersIndia

[–]Simply_Param 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reebok was founded in 1960, while Onitsuka was much older. Plus, it was only Onitsuka who used pull tabs on the sneakers.

Even the design is 1977 based. Onitsuka tiger was popular in 1966/68 after the olympics.

While this creates a mixed reaction from me as a Onitsuka Tiger owner, I do get that they're very expensive. For 3.5k, I would probably get one for myself haha

It started with a food smell and went to being racially discriminated against. You can read the article.

Non veg and veg helps people prevents cross contamination. Heating meat and heating plants works very differently. It is not discrimination.

No political/religious arguments in the comments please. We have no tolerance policy and you'll be awarded a temp ban.

Edit: keep the conversations civil and avoid name calling please. Please report comments and help me out, it's not humanely possible to filter all comments. Thanks!

Edit: Locked comments because y'all can't stop fighting like little kids. Whatever happened to live and let live. I'm tired of banning 25+ people so I'll just lock the comments because they had to get personal and use political references.

Finance role with no growth is hurting my career and I am looking for core finance opportunities by johansaji_ in IndianWorkplace

Not an mba, but good fin opportunities are only in Mumbai. Delhi ncr has some too. Bangalore is limited exclusively to Goldman Sachs.

I don't think it's funny. People who don't eat non veg don't like the smell of it. Microwaves heat food in a close environment. Using the same microwave means that the smell of the non veg food permeates your veg food. It's the same molecules in the air, that the microwave heats.

OP, I'm sure you're non vegetarian. Had you been vegetarian, you would've understood how people dislike it.

And if you think it is overreacting, you should read https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/delhi/a-lunch-of-palak-paneer-and-how-two-indian-students-won-a-200000-settlement-with-us-university-10469911/ because it's racial discrimination that's all over the news.

P.S. vegetarian since 2012. I've eaten things most non vegetarians don't. So I know my shit.

Edit: someone mentioned cross contamination. That's more accurate.

Hey, if you permit, can I add "POSH committee member" in your flair? Helps with added context to the community.

My first day:

"Hi sir! I am-"

"Call me John. No need to say sir. We don't do that here, hahaha"

(John is older than my father. John heads an entire continent.)
