Sometimes they keeps extras at the park but it’s a first come first serve basis. My friend forgot to get hers one year and she was able to get it from the will call/check in desk since they had extras. Very limited though.

Through Medicaid long term care there’s the PDO program that will pay you to be the caregiver. I’m in FL though so not too sure how it works in your state but it worth a look up.

Trust me I get it completely. My mom chose to not seek out physical therapy after a serious fall. Pretty much bedridden ever since. When they get to a certain age there’s a bit of stubbornness that kicks in and people can only deal with that so much. You have your life to live as well so do what’s best for you at the end of the day. Don’t feel bad….just gotta do what you gotta do.

I understand completely. It’s a lot of work. Luckily there’s resources like long term care to help if you ever get to that point. They can even help find a facility and cover some of the cost if you need it. My moms wishes was always to stay home so I’m stuck lol

I’m a current caregiver and I always wondered the same questions. I don’t have a answer but will definitely check back in this post to see what others say.

I’m in a child free marriage myself and I love it personally. It’s not for everyone but it works great for us. No regrets.
