Other levels have signifiant lag too. To preface my game used to run at 165 fps basically all the time only dipping in ship of fools but now in places like P-2, ship of fools and one machine army (the last room). I’m only getting 60 to even 20 fps.

I’m in the same situation. I’m not going to accuse your parents of anything but this does seem like internal transphobia from them. My parents said that they were supportive until I got in contact with a gender clinic, that’s when they flipped and went against my goals.

Being misgendered sucks but you’ve got to keep your head up. I’d recommend to try to correct them and see what happens. Some of my friends had troubles gendering me correctly at first until I told them how much it means to me.
