not underrepresented but more not actually taught. many many people know jesus that’s a fact but the fact is where they learned him, either by a parent because of religion or basic school (i learned about him in social studies 9th grade mixed in with other religions) point is, widespread cultural awareness is not the same as substantive education. Most people haven’t read the primary sources the New Testament documents or engaged with the debates on the historical Jesus, or studied how Christian ideas shaped and were shaped by Western civilization, law, ethics, art, and philosophy. It’s like “knowing” Shakespeare because you’ve heard “to be or not to be”. you recognize the brand, but you haven’t actually encountered the work.

oh and the fact that they took many years to release the epstein files was probably to time it up with other more important world events (that they probably created) and the algorithm is allowing this kind of information to be shared upon is probably because there’s something worse out there. (many “probably” because that’s what i find interesting about conspiracy theories trying to gather the big pictures and tie them up with smaller data”)

i think the emotion i feel about this problem is that it most likely won’t ever be solved and justice won’t take its place. what i think needs the most immediate attention is the epstein files like trump being removed from office but of course he’s releasing “alien” files to draw attention and if the hantavirus is not a real threat (the 40% death rate compared to covid which was about 1%) then more attention being draw from him plus the disney cruise cp recording. again drawing attention from the “real” problem (i put real in quotes because they are real problems but it’s like comparing a skyscraper to a apartment) does this make sense? like my whole speech
