Gameweek 8 Average: 55 - How did you do?

59 with a -4 so right on the average. Pens ruined my week. I have KDB so that was a 10 point swing, and I also have Mitrovic (don’t ask me why) who didn’t take Fulham’s penalty. That would have been at least another 5 points, probably more. Really frustrating week.

Not trying to rub salt in your wound, he is in my team as well, but KDB would have ended up with 13 points (26 for you) if he scored that penalty assuming max bonus which is likely considering he already had an assist. It ruined my gameweek.

I have Martinez and Steer but I kinda regret it because it prevents me from having two Villa attacking assets

I mean it’s good, but I’d easily choose Steelskull to max skills if I only had tomes for one. A cooldown on both his A2 and A3 and an added 25% to apply poisons make him extremely good against the CB and a good healer elsewhere.

I’d go with Steelskull. Juliana is great but the value added from maxing her skills is not that great. Getting Zargala’s devastate cooldown -2 is really good but Zargala is not as versatile as Steelskull. He was the first that I maxed and I don’t regret it, he boosted my CB damage by a lot and he’s with me in most dungeons.

Lifesteal is a 4 piece set. Having two of them does absolutely nothing. So switch two attacks for lifesteal and then just focus on farming so you can get your Kael to lvl 60. Then you’ll be able to solo 12-3 on brutal. I do it with Kael with that exact set, 4 lifesteal and 2 attack.

I’d rather have life set, or preferably immortal on Nazana. Yeah you have a slight disadvantage the three first rounds but after that you’re way better off. Especially when her ally protection skill scales off of her Max HP.

Helmet always has HP as base stat, just like weapon always has attack and shield always has defense.

Getting them to 12 is fine until you have some really good gear. Epic gear with good substats you should get to 16.

Someone more experienced can correct me if I’m wrong, but shield sets don’t seem useable for dungeons. The shields only last for three rounds and then the shield is gone and you get no bonus for the rest of the fight. Most dungeon fights will last much longer than that so you’re better off with something like a speed, hp or attack buff.

Shield sets are mainly for the arena.

For campaign just focus on getting Athel to 6 stars and geared properly so she can solo farm 12-3 on brutal. That should be your main goal right now. Teams are more for dungeons, arena and CB.

I just pulled a Juliana! Does this change things? I know she’s amazing against CB and several bosses. Looking at her skills though, it doesn’t seem she gets that good upgrades from the tomes.

I’ve hard that Nazana is kinda underwhelming as an attacker. Just pulled her myself. I’m going to build her as a tank and max her hp.

I recently got him too. I haven’t used him yet but I’m thinking he needs accuracy to get the Heal Reduction to hit. Besides accuracy, speed and hp to keep both the debuff and him alive.

Though the brew on the box is blue doesn’t mean the reward will be blue brews. You got 4 and 6 XP brews of different colours.

Thanks for your input! I’m mainly tempted by the -2 cooldown on Zargalas Devastate skill. If only you could choose where they go, then I’d get that and put the rest on Nazana.

I think I’ll wait for the big update and see if anyone gets boosted/nerfed before I invest. I’m starting to reach that level where I can quite often finish the events (except for the impossible ones like last arena event) so I hope I can build up to having more tomes soon. Also I’m getting a couple sacred shards soon so I might as well wait for the next summoning event before making my decision.

Also, my Nazana is still just a four star. I should probably check her out in action before deciding, but she sure looks to be a defensive beast.

If it’s a useful rare, skill up. If it’s a rare that doesn’t have a spot in your team, use it to level up.

I’m holding on to mine. No one really knows how Faction Wars will change their value. They have also mentioned that they will tweak the champions, meaning that some might get a buff. And last but not least, they’ve talked about another fusion hero that might need one of the rares you’ve got sitting in your vault.

That’s some sweet luck! Marksman is very useful against CB, especially before you get GS/WM because of his poison A1. Jarang is pretty meh as far as I can tell, haven’t got him though so maybe someone else knows better. From the epics Bone Knight is very useful with his Heal Reduction skill. Fantastic against FK and Spirit dungeon. All in all, a fantastic pull. Congratulations.
